A sheet post-processor of this disclosure is provided with a punching device and a registration roller. The punching device is capable of forming punch holes along a first side end edge of a sheet parallel to a sheet width direction orthogonal to a sheet conveyance direction and a second side end edge of the sheet parallel to the sheet conveyance direction. The registration roller is disposed downstream of the punching device in the sheet conveyance direction. The punching device includes a punch unit that forms punch holes through a sheet and an edge sensor that detects the second side end edge of a sheet. In a case of forming punch holes along the second side end edge of a sheet, without skewing of the sheet being corrected by the registration roller, the edge sensor detects the second side end edge, while the punch unit forms punch holes through the sheet.

The conveying unit includes a first processing unit that performs processing on the sheet having the image formed on the first side by the image forming unit and conveyed toward the image forming unit.

A slit-cutting device includes a first holder, a second holder, a first contactable member a second contactable member, and a protrusion member. The first holder includes a medium faceable area and a first contactable member. The second holder holds a blade and includes a second contactable member. A cutting edge of the blade may cut a medium between the first holder and the blade. The first contactable member and the second contactable member contact each other and defined a closest approach distance between the cutting edge and the first holder. The closest approach distance is longer than zero and below a thickness of the medium. The protrusion member protrudes more than the closest approach distance from a part of the medium faceable area. The cutting edge may make a cut line includes at least a part of a slit-cut and a full-cut in a cutting edge direction in the medium.

A post-processing apparatus includes a transport path having a first path member and a second path member, a punching member disposed on the transport path to perform punching on the medium. The transport path includes a first transport path disposed downstream of the punching member in a transport direction and a second transport path continuously extending downstream of the first transport path in the transport path, the second transport path having a curved shape to hold the medium in a curved state, the first path member in the second transport path forms an outer side of the curved shape and is disposed at a position further separated from the first surface than the first path member in the first transport path, and an upstream end in the transport direction of the medium in the curved state is moved from the first transport path to the second transport path.

A separating unit for separating a web material includes a first shaft extending along a first longitudinal axis in the width direction and a second shaft extending along a second longitudinal axis, parallel to the first shaft. A perforation device includes a shaft, a perforation motor, at least a first perforation portion, at least a second perforation portion, at least a first cam for reciprocating a first perforation blade in the first perforation portion, at least a second cam for reciprocating a second perforation blade in the second perforation portion, a rotation speed detecting portion, a home position detecting portion, and a controller. In second perforation processing in which the shaft is rotated one turn to perform first perforation with the first perforation portion and second perforation with the second perforation portion in sequence, the controller senses, with the rotation speed detecting portion, the rotation speed of the shaft after the first perforation blade penetrates the sheet in the first perforation and, based on the rotation speed detecting, the controller determines the timing of starting braking control in the second perforation and performs braking control.
