MODULAR RADIAL IMPELLER DRUM FOR PRINTING DEVICES
A modular radial impeller drum for cooling print media in a printing device are disclosed. For example, the modular radial impeller drum includes a plurality of impeller modules coupled together to form a surface to transport the print media. Each one of the plurality of impeller modules includes a cylindrical outer surface, a cylindrical center axis inside of the cylindrical outer surface, and a plurality of impeller blades coupled between the cylindrical outer surface and the cylindrical center axis, wherein each one of the plurality of impeller blades are angled, wherein the plurality of impeller modules are coupled together such that the plurality of impeller blades of each one of the plurality of impeller modules are aligned across a length of the modular radial impeller drum.
CUTTING HEAD-INCLUDING PRINTER
A cutting head-including printer includes at least one driving roller, a pair of side pinch rollers, a center pinch roller provided between the pair of side pinch rollers, and a roller moving mechanism that causes the center pinch roller to approach, or to be separated from, the at least one driving roller. The cutting head-including printer sets whether to perform cutting after printing or to perform the printing after the cutting. During the cutting performed after the printing, the cutting head-including printer separates the center pinch roller from the at least one driving roller. During the cutting performed before the printing, the cutting head-including printer locates the center pinch roller at a position where the center pinch roller holds a recording medium together with the at least one driving roller.
Recording medium transport device and recording device
A recording device capable of preventing an occurrence of a transport wrinkle in a transport path is provided. A recording medium transport device includes a driving roller (111) and a driven roller (112) arranged such that a roller axial direction of the driving roller and a roller axial direction of the driven roller are parallel to each other, a recording medium (1) being transported by driving the driving roller (111) with the recording medium (1) held between the driving roller (111) and the driven roller (112), and the driven roller (112) is movably supported from a predetermined position in the roller axial direction, and in a case where the driven roller (112) is separated from the driving roller (111) without holding the recording medium (1) between the driven roller and the driving roller (111), the driven roller (112) moves to the predetermined position in the roller axial direction.
CONVEYING ROLLERS PAIR AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A conveyance rollers pair includes a first roller and a second roller. The first roller has a uniform outer diameter and rotates around an axis. The second roller conveys a medium held between the first roller and the second roller while rotating around an axis. The second roller includes a shaft part, a plurality of columnar elastic members and a plurality of tube members. The shaft part extends in an axial direction and is supported rotatably around the axis. The elastic members are fixed to an outer circumferential surface of the shaft part at intervals in the axial direction. Each of the tube member has heat-shrinking property and water-repellency, adheres closely to an outer circumferential surface of the elastic member, and has both end portions which are protruded outward from both axial ends of the elastic member and have a diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the elastic member.
Inkjet printer and inkjet printer including cutting head
A printer includes a first holding shaft holding side pinch rollers and at least one center pinch roller, grit rollers moving a recording medium while holding the recording medium together with the side pinch rollers and together with the center pinch roller, and a rotator rotating the first holding shaft to cause the side pinch rollers and the center pinch roller to approach, or to be separated from, the grit rollers. The center pinch roller is movable in a direction to be separated from the recording medium, independently from the side pinch rollers.
Transport roller
A transport roller for a printing apparatus transports a medium. The transport roller includes a shaft that extends in a direction intersecting a transport direction of the medium, and a wheel group in which a plurality of toothed wheels arrayed in the direction in which the shaft extends are held by holders. The toothed wheel includes non-formation portions having no teeth. The non-formation portions of the plurality of toothed wheels of the wheel group are arranged with an interval therebetween in a circumferential direction of the toothed wheels. The non-formation portions are cut portions that are formed when the toothed wheel is cut off from a base. The teeth other than the teeth adjacent to the cut portions are arranged away from each other at regular intervals in a circumferential direction of the wheel group.
SEPARATION ROLLER, SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A separation roller for a sheet feeding apparatus includes an outer circumferential portion formed from an elastic material, a core portion to which the outer circumferential portion is attached; and a flange portion including a plurality of projecting portions each projecting to an outside in a radial direction with respect to the core portion. At least one of the plurality of projecting portions includes a first surface provided on a side portion thereof on an upstream side in a first direction in which the separation roller rotates in such a manner as to follow the rotary feeding member rotating to feed the sheet. The first surface extends more upstream in the first direction at a position further on an outside in a radial direction with respect to a rotation axis of the separation roller as viewed in the axial direction.
Printing apparatus
A transport roller, adapted to be used in a transport apparatus that transports a medium, includes a shaft, and a wheel group. The wheel group includes a plurality of toothed wheels arrayed in a direction in which the shaft extends, the plurality of toothed wheels being held by a holder which is held by the shaft. A plurality of teeth portions are provided on a peripheral surface of the wheel group, the plurality of teeth portions being disposed to be shifted in position from each other in a circumferential direction of the wheel group when the wheel group is viewed from the direction in which the shaft extends.
ASSEMBLY FOR FOLDING POLYMERIC FILM FOR MACHINES FOR FORMING POUCHES AND THE LIKE
An assembly for folding polymeric film for machines for forming pouches and the like includes a fixed frame for supporting a magazine for the polymeric film, an element for folding the film that arrives from the magazine, and at least one heat-sealing device for the stable coupling of juxtaposed portions of the folded film that arrives from the folding element. The folding element is mounted on a carriage, which can translate along a respective guide which is integral with the frame, along the sliding direction of the film, with a speed that is variable in intensity and sign. The at least one heat-sealing device acts on portions folded onto themselves of the film during a temporary stop thereof. The carriage retracts with respect to the sliding direction of the film for the entire duration of the temporary stop step provided for the heat-sealing of the film.
Roller assembly and method for transporting a substrate using the same
A roller assembly for transporting a substrate includes a step roller and a plurality of first auxiliary rollers. The step roller includes a main roller, and a pair of edge rollers sleeved on the main roller and located on two opposite ends of the main roller, respectively. The plurality of first auxiliary rollers are disposed on two opposite sides of the step roller, respectively. A first film forms a closed loop through the first film being rolled on the plurality of first auxiliary rollers and the step roller cyclically. A method using the same is also provided.
