Conveyance apparatus and image recording apparatus provided with the same
There is provided a conveyance apparatus including: a conveyance roller; a plurality of driven rollers; a plurality of roller holders; an biasing member biasing each of the roller holders toward a first position; and a movable member having a plurality of cam portions. Each of the cam portions has: a first inclined surface abutting against one of the roller holders from a side of one of the driven rollers, during a movement process of the movable member from a third position to a fourth position, to thereby move one of the roller holders from the first position toward a second position; and a second inclined surface arranged upstream of the first inclined surface in a moving direction, and abutting against one of the roller holders from the side of one of the driven rollers, during the movement process of the movable member from the third position to the fourth position.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive drum, a light exposure device, a developing device, a fixing unit disposed opposite to the light exposure device relative to the developing device, a sheet supply tray disposed below the developing device, an ejection tray disposed above the developing device and having a sheet receiving surface inclined downward, relative to a horizontal direction, toward the charger, and a sheet conveying path through which a sheet is conveyed from the sheet supply tray to the ejection tray. A lowest end portion of the sheet receiving surface is disposed below an upper end of the charger in the vertical direction. The charger is disposed opposite to the developing device relative to the lowest end portion of the sheet receiving surface.
Paper discharge device
When a face of a paper sheet to be discharged on which an image is formed faces downward, a paper discharge device divides an image region of image data on the paper sheet to be discharged into areas along a discharge direction, detects an area in which maximum image density for each divided area is higher than or equal to a specified threshold, and controls a discharge angle so that the detected area does not come into contact with a stacked paper sheet until the paper sheet to be discharged has been discharged from a discharge roller.
Medium transport apparatus
A printer includes an apparatus main body, an inner door unit, a main body gear, a transmission gear, and a lock mechanism section. The lock mechanism section locks the inner door unit against the apparatus main body and unlocks the inner door unit from the apparatus main body. The lock mechanism section includes a counter-engagement shaft which is long in a Y-direction, a lock lever having an engagement surface configured to engage with the counter-engagement shaft, and a tension spring that applies force to the lock lever to enable the engagement surface to change in position from a first posture to a second posture. In a closing operation, the engagement surface changes position to the second posture while shifting the position of contact with the counter-engagement shaft, and applies, to the counter-engagement shaft, a pull-in force for moving the inner door unit to a closed position.

The invention relates to a folding machine for paper and soft folding material, comprising a supporting frame (1), in which a rotary bearing (2) is rotatably mounted, the rotary bearing containing mutually parallel rotatable working rolls (17, 18, 19), wherein: a pressing device (6) for pressing the paper (39) onto positions of the rotary bearing (2) is provided, and an outer control element (7) which is rotated conjointly with the rotary bearing is provided: the pressing device (6) is mounted in an opening flap (26) and is formed by two profiled elements (28, 36), which are controlled by the outer control element (7); the first profiled element (28) receives and transports the paper (39) in cooperation with a first working roll (17), and the second profiled element (36) leads the paper (39), in contact with a first working roll (17) and a third working roll (19) running oppositely to each other, to a folding gap (44); and a pivoting nose (20), which is rotated conjointly with the rotary bearing (2) and is positively controlled by means of an inner control element (11), is provided for a second folding of the paper (39) in a second folding gap (45) between the first working roll (17) and the second working roll (18).
Sheet feeding device
A sheet feeding device includes a roller unit having first and second engagement units, a first engaged unit, and a pressing arm having a second engaged unit. By being rotated about the first engagement unit from a first position where the first engagement unit and the first engaged unit are engaged with each other, and the second engagement unit and the second engaged unit are not engaged with each other, the roller unit is movable to a second position at which the first engagement unit and the first engaged unit are engaged with each other, and the second engagement unit and the second engaged unit are engaged with each other. By the second engagement unit pressing the second engaged unit to move the roller unit from the first position to the second position, the second engaged unit moves to a position retracted from a second engagement unit movement locus.
Conveyance device and image forming apparatus
A conveyance device includes: a conveyance unit that conveys a material to be conveyed; a guide unit that guides the material to be conveyed, the guide unit being movable between a first position at which a first conveyance path is formed and a second position at which a second conveyance path is formed; a driving unit that drives the conveyance unit and the guide unit; a restriction unit that comes into contact with the guide unit moving in a moving direction from the second position to the first position at the first position by a driving force of the driving unit to restrict the movement of the guide unit in the moving direction; and a blocking unit that blocks transmission of the driving force of the driving unit to the guide unit when a moving load greater than or equal to a predetermined load acts on the guide unit moving in the moving direction.
Printing apparatus comprising nip switching unit and opening/closing housing portion
When a user opens an opening/closing portion for accessing an inside of a housing, a shaft member is displaced in a +Z direction by a biasing force of a spring, and moves a lever member in the +Z direction. A rotation shaft rotates in a + direction along with displacement of the shaft member in the +Z direction. As a result, a cam rotates in the + direction together with the rotation shaft, and presses, by a projection portion, a cam reception portion of an arm unit main body in a X direction against the biasing force of the spring. Due to this, the cam rotates the arm unit main body in a direction. Then, a driven roller moves the +Z direction along with rotation of the arm unit main body in the direction, and is switched from a nip state to a non-nip state.
