Sheet processing apparatus
According to an embodiment, a sheet processing apparatus includes a first tray, a second tray, a first member, and a second member. The first member presses a first portion of a sheet toward the second tray when the sheet is moved from the first tray to the second tray located below the first tray. The second member is interlocked with the first member, and when the sheet is moved from the first tray to the second tray, presses a second portion of the sheet toward the second tray, the second portion being located downstream of the first portion in a transport direction of the sheet to the first tray.
MEDIUM CONVEYANCE ROUTE SWITCHING DEVICE FOR AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE
A medium conveyance route switching device includes: a support unit located at a branching point where conveyance directions of a medium converge in three directions; a gate assembly including a plurality of gates to guide at the branching point the medium to different conveyance paths; and a rotation mechanism configured to selectively rotate the plurality of gates. The support unit includes: a first support piece having a first through-hole portion; a second support piece having a second through-hole portion; a third support piece having a third through-hole portion; a first bending connection portion rotatably connecting one end of the first support piece and the second support piece; a second bending connection portion rotatably connecting the other end of the first support piece and the third support piece; and a fixing shaft inserted into the first through-hole portion, the second through-hole portion, and the third through-hole portion.
Sheet conveying device and image forming apparatus
A sheet conveying device includes an abutment that abuts on a sheet conveyance path through which a sheet is conveyed. A holder supports the abutment and pivots to move the abutment between an abutting position where the abutment abuts on the sheet conveyance path and a retracted position where the abutment retracts from the sheet conveyance path. A biasing member applies a biasing force to the abutment. The biasing force moves the abutment from the retracted position toward the abutting position. A restrictor restricts motion of the abutment against the biasing force at the abutting position. An adjuster adjusts the biasing force applied to the abutment situated at the abutting position.

Paper stacking device and image forming system
A paper stacking device includes: a stacker on which paper is stacked; a paper ejector that ejects the paper toward the stacker; an aligning plate that is provided on a side of the paper stacked on the stacker, and aligns a side end of the paper; and a paper floating member that is provided in the aligning plate, and supports, from below, the side end of the paper ejected from the paper ejector, wherein the paper floating member is switched, in conjunction with a movement in upward and downward directions of the aligning plate, between: a paper floating position that advances from a side of the side end of the paper to an ejection route of the paper, and causes the paper ejected from the paper ejector to float from uppermost paper stacked on the stacker; and a retreat position that retreats from the ejection route.
Pick up device for using in automatic feeder
A pick-up device disposed between an input tray and a feeding path includes a paper feeding unit for feeding paper, a separation roller disposed opposite to the paper feeding unit, a blocking arm disposed between the input tray and the paper feeding unit and configured to be switchably disposed between a blocking position for blocking the paper and a feeding position for passing the paper through the feeding path, and a guiding arm disposed in the feeding path through a pivot shaft and having a guiding portion. The pivot shaft is located upstream of the separation roller, and the guiding portion is swingably disposed in a seam space formed by the paper feeding unit and the separation roller.
Sheet folding apparatus
A sheet folding apparatus includes a sheet folding unit disposed to fold a sheet and a conveyance unit disposed to feed the sheet to the sheet folding unit in a feed direction orthogonal to a fold direction of the sheet folding unit while correcting a skew of the sheet. The conveyance unit includes an elongated reference guide, a conveyance mechanism disposed to convey the sheet in the feed direction while exerting a force on the sheet toward the reference guide, an adjustment mechanism disposed to adjust an inclination of the reference guide with respect to the feed direction. The apparatus further includes an input unit through which a user inputs a folding misalignment amount of the sheet folded by the sheet folding unit. The inclination of the reference guide is corrected by the adjustment mechanism based on at least the folding misalignment amount inputted through the input unit.
Media stops
An example apparatus includes a media receiving portion having a leading edge receiving region and a trailing edge receiving region for receiving media traveling onto the media receiving portion in a direction from the trailing edge receiving portion the leading edge receiving portion. The example apparatus further includes a leading edge stop coupled to the media receiving portion at the leading edge receiving portion. The leading edge stop is resiliently coupled to the media receiving portion to bias against movement of the leading edge stop from a resting position.
Paper stacking device and image forming system
A paper stacking device includes: a stacker on which paper is stacked; a paper ejector that ejects the paper; an aligning plate that is provided on a side of the paper, and aligns a side end of the paper; a paper floating member that is provided in the aligning plate, and supports, from below, the side end of the paper; and a blower that is provided on the side of the paper across the aligning plate, and blows air, wherein the aligning plate includes a blowing opening through which air from the blower is blown, the paper floating member is switched between: a paper floating position; and a retreat position, when the paper floating member is located in the paper floating position, the blowing opening is opened, and when the paper floating member is located in the retreat position, the blowing opening is shielded.
CONVEYOR AND IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS
A conveyor includes: a receiver that detachably receives a roll-like sheet; a conveyance unit that conveys the sheet in a conveyance orientation along a conveyance surface; and a tensioner that applies tension to the sheet at a position upstream of the conveyance unit in the conveyance orientation. The tensioner includes: a frame having a groove pair extending in a first direction along the conveyance orientation; a guide having a curved surface that contacts the sheet and an engagement member pair that engages with the groove pair; a pivoting member that pivots around an axis extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and parallel to the conveyance surface; a transmission member that transmits pivoting of the pivoting member to the guide; and an urging member that applies urging force including a component in the first direction to the guide.
