The passage forming portion includes an opening/closing portion which is displaceable between a closed position for forming the discharge passage and an open position for opening access to the stacking portion.
Sheet conveyor
A sheet conveyor includes: a sheet conveyor; a supporter including a movable guide and having a first and second end portions in a widthwise direction; and a first cover adjacent to the first end portion. The supporter has an upstream edge in the conveying direction. A first-end upstream end portion of the upstream edge is nearer to the sheet conveyor than a second-end upstream end portion of the upstream edge. The first cover has a first region and a second region. The first region has a height greater than or equal to that of the guide and extends to a position located upstream of an upstream, end portion of the guide. The second region is located upstream of the first region, and the second region is less in height than the first region. The first-end upstream end portion overlaps the first region when viewed in the widthwise direction.
Sheet ejecting device
A sheet ejecting device having a first ejection tray, a first ejection roller to eject the sheet to the first ejection tray, a second ejection tray in a position above the first ejection tray, a second ejection roller to eject the sheet to the second ejection tray, and a first guide and a second guide disposed in widthwise end portions on a lower surface of the second ejection tray, is provided. The first guide and the second guide are configured to contact widthwise end portions of the sheet ejected by the first ejection roller and guide the widthwise end portions of the sheet downward.
Sheet stacking apparatus, sheet processing apparatus, and image forming apparatus
A sheet stacking apparatus includes a conveying unit, a first support member configured to support a sheet, the first support member including a first supporting surface contacting an underside of a first end portion of the sheet in a direction orthogonal to a sheet conveying direction, a second support member configured to support the sheet, the second support member including a second supporting surface contacting an underside of a second end portion of the sheet, and a stacking unit. At least one of the first support member and the second support member is capable of moving between a first position that supports the sheet and a second position that does not support the sheet, and a length of the first support member is shorter than a length of the second support member in the sheet conveying direction.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE
A sheet feeding device includes a document mounting board, in which a downstream end of the document mounting board in the feeding direction of the documents in the feed mechanism is connected to a scanner body so as to be rotatable about a first turning shaft parallel to a rotation shaft of a pickup roller, the first turning shaft is located downstream from the feed mechanism in the feeding direction of the documents in the feed mechanism, a mounting surface of the document mounting board on which the documents are mounted is located above the pickup roller when the documents are mounted on the document mounting board, and the document mounting board turns about the first turning shaft such that the mounting surface moves downward and the mounting surface moves downward from a contact portion of the pickup roller with the document when the documents mounted on the document mounting board are fed.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE
In a sheet feeding device, a document mounting board includes a first member that includes a first mounting surface and is located on the feed mechanism side in the feeding direction of the documents in the feed mechanism, the first mounting surface being inclined to a lower side toward the feed mechanism, and a second member that includes a second mounting surface on which the documents are mounted and is disposed on a side opposite to the side of the first member on which the feed mechanism is located, and the second member is connected to the first member to be rotatable about a second turning shaft and turns about the second turning shaft depending on the weight of the documents detected by the weight sensor to change an angle with respect to the first member.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a recording portion; a liquid reservoir portion; a medium ejection route that is provided, at an end portion thereof, with a medium outlet from which the medium is ejected; an ejection roller that ejects the medium from the medium outlet; and a stacking member that stacks the medium. The medium ejection route includes, in an interval where the medium having been subjected to recording by the recording portion is transported to the medium outlet, a reversing curved route along which the medium is curved in a state where a recorded face of the medium faces an inner side of the curve, and the liquid reservoir portion is disposed, in a vertical direction, at a further antigravity direction side position than a position of the medium ejection route and a position of a movement trajectory drawn by the medium during a period until its stack on the stacking member.
SHEET DISCHARGE APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet discharge apparatus includes a discharge unit, a supporting portion, and a regulation portion. The discharge unit is configured to discharge a sheet. The supporting portion is configured to support the discharged sheet. The regulation portion is configured to regulate a trailing edge position of the discharged sheet in a sheet discharge direction. The supporting portion includes a base surface, a first projection portion, and a second projection portion. The first projection portion projects from the base surface, is disposed downstream of the regulation portion in the sheet discharge direction, and extends in a width direction orthogonal to the sheet discharge direction. The second projection portion projects from the base surface, is disposed downstream of the first projection portion in the sheet discharge direction with a predetermined interval from the first projection portion, and is shorter than the first projection portion in the width direction.
MEDIUM DISCHARGE DEVICE AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A medium discharge device includes a discharge roller pair that is provided with a discharge driving roller and a discharge driven roller which drivably rotates in contact with the discharge driving roller, and a medium receiving tray which receives the medium that is fed and discharged by the discharge roller pair, in which the medium receiving tray includes a guide member which guides such that a tip end of the medium which is discharged from the discharge roller pair enters the medium mounting surface at a predetermined angle, and the guide member is provided to be elastically displaceable in an advancing and retreating direction with respect to the medium mounting surface of the medium receiving tray and is displaced in a direction coming close to the medium mounting surface according to raising of a pressing load due to the medium that is discharged to the medium receiving tray.
