IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, SORTING DEVICE, AND TRAY UNIT
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming section, a discharging roller pair, a plurality of trays, a guide member, and a controller. The image forming section forms an image on each of a plurality of sheets. The discharging roller pair discharges each of the sheets. The sheets discharged by the discharging roller pair are to be stacked on the trays (first through third trays). The guide member guides each of the sheets from the discharging roller pair toward a discharge destination tray among the plurality of trays. Every time the discharging roller pair discharges one of the sheets, the controller controls the guide member to change the discharge destination tray. The trays are configured such that leading ends of the sheets are superposed on one another.
Image reading apparatus
The likelihood of a medium jamming is reduced or avoided during discharging media to a discharged-sheet receiving tray, and a plurality of media are appropriately discharged to, and stacked on, the discharged-sheet receiving tray. A scanner includes an apparatus body including a reading section that reads a sheet, a discharge roller pair that is provided inside the apparatus body and discharges the sheet after reads in the reading section, and a discharged sheet tray that receives the sheet being discharged by the discharge roller pair. The discharged sheet tray includes a first member that has at least a portion that is located inside the apparatus body. The first member is that supports the medium at a position higher than the placement surface of the discharged sheet tray.
SHEET STACKING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
It is desirable to improve alignment of sheets discharged to a stack tray without increasing the size and cost of the apparatus.
A stacking portion which is sloped so that a downstream side is higher than an upstream side in a sheet conveyance direction and on which a sheet discharged by a discharging portion is stacked and a plurality of rotation members which protrudes from an upper face of the stacking portion are provided. At least one of the plurality of rotation members rotates only in a direction opposite to the sheet conveyance direction.
Medium discharging device and image reading apparatus
A medium discharging device includes a discharging unit which discharges a medium; and a medium receiving tray which receives the medium discharged by the discharging unit, and is switched between an extended state and an accommodated state, in which the medium receiving tray is provided with a base tray, a main extendeding unit that is accommodated or extended, and at least one sub-extendeding unit that is accommodated or extended, and in which the base tray forms an accommodating space for accommodating at least the one sub-extendeding unit, and is provided with a first protrusion portion protruding toward the accommodating space.
Stacking apparatus
There is provided a stacking apparatus capable of stably conveying and stacking sheets without occurrence of damage or buckling of the sheets in the structure of discharging the curled sheets one by one. In regard to each of a plurality of clamp guides which project toward stacking trays from a conveyor to guide sheets S, the projecting position varies in accordance with a size and an amount of stacked sheets on the stack trays. The stacking tray comprises an inclined surface and a curved surface. An upper guide is located to face the inclined surface by a predetermined interval, and the upper guide is located not to face the curved surface or is located to face it by an interval larger than a predetermined interval.
Paper ejection tray assembly with ribs
A paper ejection tray assembly for ejecting paper in an ejecting direction in an image reading device includes a tray body including a stacking surface for stacking an ejected paper, and a pair of movable ribs which are arranged a predetermined distance apart from each other in a direction perpendicular to the ejection direction of the paper and which project out from the stacking surface of the tray body at least when paper is ejected from an ejection slot, the pair of ribs respectively have first inclined surfaces with heights from the stacking surface gradually becoming higher from the downstream side toward the upstream side of the ejection direction of the paper so as to guide the paper ejected from the ejection slot.
Banknote stacking device
A banknote stacking device includes a piece-by-piece banknote conveying mechanism, an upper conveyor belt, an arc-shaped stacking plate, a movable blocking mechanism, a sensor device, and a control unit. An elastic sheet is arranged on the arc-shaped stacking plate at a position for stacking banknotes, an end of the elastic sheet is fixed on the arc-shaped stacking plate, and a free end of the elastic sheet extends in a direction opposite to the conveying direction of the banknotes, the extending segment of the elastic sheet forms an arch and is configured to elastically support the upper conveyor belt, and a through-groove is provided in the arc-shaped stacking plate at a position corresponding to the elastic sheet, and the free end of the elastic sheet is configured to extend and retract freely in the through-groove.
Sheet conveyor
A sheet conveyor includes: a sheet conveyor; a supporter including a movable guide and having a first and second end portions in a widthwise direction; and a first cover adjacent to the first end portion. The supporter has an upstream edge in the conveying direction. A first-end upstream end portion of the upstream edge is nearer to the sheet conveyor than a second-end upstream end portion of the upstream edge. The first cover has a first region and a second region. The first region has a height greater than or equal to that of the guide and extends to a position located upstream of an upstream, end portion of the guide. The second region is located upstream of the first region, and the second region is less in height than the first region. The first-end upstream end portion overlaps the first region when viewed in the widthwise direction.
