SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus includes an apparatus body, a cover openably and closably supported between a first closed position and a first open position, a first supporting portion movable between a second closed position and a second open position, an interlocking portion configured to move the first supporting portion from the second closed position to the second open position in a case where the cover is opened from the first closed position to the first open position, a second supporting portion drawably supported by the first supporting portion, and a feed portion configured to feed the sheet supported by the first and second supporting portions. A moving angle of the first supporting portion in moving from the second closed position to the second open position is smaller than a moving angle of the cover in moving from the first closed position to the first open position.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image reading apparatus includes a stacking portion, a feeding unit, a reading unit, and a discharge portion provided below the stacking portion. The feeding unit feeds a sheet stacked on the stacking portion in a feeding direction. The reading unit reads an image on the fed sheet and the discharge portion discharges the read sheet. The stacking portion includes first and second support surfaces that support the sheet and first and second regulating units to regulate a position of the sheet in a widthwise direction using two opposing ends of the sheet. The second support surface is retractable from a predetermined section above the discharge portion. The first support surface includes a downstream support portion that supports the sheet on a downstream side of the predetermined section in the feeding direction. A part of the second regulating surface is positioned on the downstream support portion.
Sheet stacker and image forming apparatus incorporating the sheet stacker
A sheet stacker includes a sheet stacking member, a biasing force applier, an angle changer, and a biasing force change reducer. The sheet stacking member has an upstream portion in a sheet conveyance direction. The upstream portion is movable in a vertical direction. The biasing force applier is configured to bias the sheet stacking member upward. The angle changer is configured to change an angle of a sheet stacking face of the sheet stacking member, relative to a surface of a sheet conveyed through a sheet conveying portion. The biasing force change reducer is configured to restrain a change of a biasing force acting on the sheet stacking member, before and after a change of the angle of the sheet stacking member by the angle changer.
SHEET CASSETTE AND IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a sheet cassette includes a sheet placing portion. The sheet placing portion can rotate around a rotation shaft while placing a sheet of a placeable maximum size in a sheet placing area to be flat. The rotation shaft extends to be perpendicular to a discharge direction and a gravity direction of the sheet. The rotation shaft is disposed between a first end portion on a downstream side along the discharge direction in the sheet placing area and a second end portion on an upstream side positioned on a side opposite to the first end portion.
SHEET FEEDER, LAMINATOR, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet feeder includes a sheet stacker, a sheet feed roller, a separation roller pair, and a lifter. Sheets are conveyed and stacked on the sheet stacker. The sheet feed roller feeds the sheets. The separation roller pair separates the sheets fed by the sheet feed roller one by one. The lifter lifts and lowers the sheet stacker depending on a stack amount of the sheets. The sheet stacker includes a first stacking face, a second stacking face, and a bent portion integrally connecting the stacking faces such that the stacking faces form a specified angle. The sheet stacker stacks the sheets such that a center of gravity of the sheets is positioned above the first stacking face and integrally displaces the stacking faces when the lifter operates.
Paper sheet storage device and paper sheet processing device
The present invention makes it possible to perform both judgment of necessity of maintenance of a circulation-type paper sheet storage device and the maintenance of the circulation-type paper sheet storage device in the same place. The paper sheet storage device is a paper sheet storage device attached to a paper sheet processing device having a storage function for receiving paper sheets transported thereto and storing the paper sheets in the paper sheet storage device and/or a feeding function for feeding paper sheets stored in the paper sheet storage device. The paper sheet storage device includes a memory unit that memorizes therein specific information to be updated according to storage or feed of paper sheets.
MEDIUM PLACEMENT DEVICE AND RECORDING SYSTEM
A medium placement device includes a placement unit configured to have cut single paper thereon, a cover member configured to have single paper supplied to or discharged from an opening portion thereon, and a movement unit configured to move the cover member between a first position and a second position that is lower than the first position.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding device includes a storage, a discharger, an angle adjuster, and an urging body. The storage stores a sheet bundle. The discharger contacts and discharge an uppermost sheet of the sheet bundle from the storage in a sheet conveying direction in which the uppermost sheet is conveyed. The angle adjuster changes an angle according to a remaining amount of the sheet bundle in the storage. The urging body urges a trailing end of the uppermost sheet in the sheet conveying direction toward the discharger in stages according to the remaining amount.
Electric paper tray, automatic document feeder with electric paper tray and automatic switching method of automatic document feeder with electric paper tray
An electric paper tray includes a base, a paper holding element pivotally mounted to at least one side of the base, a power unit arranged at the base, and a lifting module connected between the paper holding element and the power unit. The lifting module is movably mounted under the paper holding element. When the lifting module is driven by the power unit to move to a first position, with respect to the base, the lifting module drives the paper holding element to make the paper holding element rotate to a closed position, when the lifting module is driven by the power unit to move to a second position, with respect to the base, the lifting module drives the paper holding element to make the paper holding element rotate to an opened position.
Post-processing apparatus and image forming system incorporating the post-processing apparatus
A post-processing apparatus includes a post-processing device, an ejection device, and an ejection tray. The post-processing device executes post-processing on a medium on which an image is formed by an image forming apparatus. The ejection device ejects the medium on which the post-processing is executed by the post-processing device. The ejection tray holds the medium ejected by the ejection device. The ejection tray includes a main tray having an upper face inclined downward in an ejection direction, and a movable tray being rotatably supported by the main tray between a stacking position at which the medium ejected by the ejection device remains stacked on the upper face of the main tray and an ejection position at which the medium ejected by the ejection device slides along the upper face of the main tray.
