Provided is an image forming system capable of reliably preventing others from removing and taking printed matter even though printing is executed beforehand. The confidential notation reading unit reads a confidential notation. The user storage tray has a structure from which outputted printed matter cannot be removed unless the opening/closing door is opened. The locking mechanism locks the opening/closing door. The sorting mechanism sorts the printed matter outputted from the image forming apparatus and outputs the printed matter to either the open tray or the user storage tray. The sorting control unit outputs printed matter to which a confidential notation is not added to the open tray, and outputs a printed matter to which a confidential notation is added to the user storage tray, respectively.

STACKER MODULE FOR A CONVERTING MACHINE

The present invention relates to a stacker module (28) for a folder-gluer machine (1). The stacker module comprises a loading surface (90) configured to receive a plurality of folding boxes and to descend vertically as the number of folding boxes on the loading surface increases, and a linearly movable ejector (76) configured to be moved from a retracted position (RP) to an extended position (DP).The stacker further comprises an upper guide (110), configured to move between a clearing position (CP) which is vertically distant from the upper surface of the stack, and a guiding position (GP), in which the upper guide is located closer to the upper surface of the stack, and wherein the upper guide is in the guiding position when the ejector is moved from the retracted position to the evacuation position.

A sheet feeding device includes a storage, a discharger, an angle adjuster, and an urging body. The storage stores a sheet bundle. The discharger contacts and discharge an uppermost sheet of the sheet bundle from the storage in a sheet conveying direction in which the uppermost sheet is conveyed. The angle adjuster changes an angle according to a remaining amount of the sheet bundle in the storage. The urging body urges a trailing end of the uppermost sheet in the sheet conveying direction toward the discharger in stages according to the remaining amount.

Recording apparatus

A recording apparatus includes a lower unit having a recording section configured to perform recording on a medium, and an upper unit disposed on the lower unit, the upper unit including a reading section configured to read an image of the document, in which the lower unit includes a medium discharge section configured to discharge the medium toward the rear of the apparatus, and a medium receiving section disposed on the apparatus rear side with respect to the medium discharge section, the medium receiving section being configured to receive the medium discharged, and the upper unit is shorter than the lower unit in the apparatus front-rear direction and the upper unit is closer to the apparatus front with respect to the lower unit such that an end portion of the medium receiving section in the medium discharging direction is exposed at the rear of the upper unit.

Sheet container, sheet feeder, and image forming system

A sheet container includes a housing, a stacking part provided in the housing so that recording sheets are stacked on the stacking part, a contact part to be brought into contact with edges of the recording sheets in a length direction on the stacking part in an attached state in which the contact part is attached into the housing, a connection member connected to the stacking part or the housing and having an extension part longer than the stacking part in the length direction, and a retreater that retreats the contact part in the attached state from the extension part with the connection member connected to the stacking part or the housing.

Sheet discharge apparatus and image forming apparatus including the same

A sheet discharge apparatus includes a main tray, a discharge unit, and an expansion tray. The main tray is pivotable between a closed position and open position relative to a sheet discharge apparatus main body. The discharge unit discharges the sheet onto the main tray in the closed position. The expansion tray expands a main tray stacking area and is movable between a storage position where the expansion tray is stored in the main tray and an expansion position where the expansion tray is slid from the storage position in a sheet discharge direction and expands the stacking area. At the expansion position, the expansion tray is pivotable independently of the main tray. A direction in which the expansion tray is pivoted upward is the same as a direction in which the main tray is pivoted from the closed to the opened position.

PRINTING APPARATUS

A printing apparatus includes a stacking portion on which a print medium printed by a printing unit configured to perform printing is stacked, a discharge unit configured to convey the print medium printed by the printing unit to the stacking portion, a passage forming portion arranged above the stacking portion so as to face the stacking portion and configured to form a discharge passage of the print medium together with the stacking portion, and an outlet port located in a downstream end of the discharge passage in a conveying direction of the print medium. In the outlet port, the passage forming portion extends to the downstream side of the stacking portion in the conveying direction.

SHEET SUPPLY DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

According to an embodiment, a sheet supply device includes a stacking unit, a first roller, a second roller, and a stopper. The stacking unit has a stack surface on which sheets are stacked. The first roller conveys a sheet from the stacking unit in a conveying direction. The second roller conveys the sheet conveyed by the first roller. The stopper has an abutting surface. The stopper is rotatable around a rotation shaft along a width direction. The stopper rotates such that a posture of the stopper switches between a first and a second posture. The first posture has a first angle at which an angle between the abutting surface and the stack surface is an obtuse angle. The second posture has a second angle at which an angle between the abutting surface and the stack surface is an obtuse angle, the second angle being more than the first angle.

SHEET DISCHARGE DEVICE, AND DOCUMENT CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS PROVIDED THEREWITH

A sheet discharge device includes: a sheet discharge portion; a sheet stacking portion having a sheet stacking surface for stacking a sheet discharged from the sheet discharge portion; and a stopper in the sheet stacking portion against which, for alignment, the leading end of the sheet discharged from the sheet discharge portion is thrust. The stopper has a support portion, a restricting portion, and an urging mechanism. The restricting portion is supported pivotally on a pivot shaft on the support portion, and is arranged either in a retracted position to lie flat substantially horizontally along the sheet stacking surface or in a restricting position to stand upright substantially vertically to the sheet stacking surface. The urging mechanism urges the restricting portion, when in retracted position, in a direction from restricting position to retracted position and, when in restricting position, in a direction from retracted position to restricting position.

Banknote stacking and separating apparatus and banknote processing device

A banknote stacking and separating apparatus includes a frame, and a guide plate and a pressing plate that are disposed on the frame. The frame is provided with an entrance-and-exit for a banknote. One end of the guide plate adjacent to the entrance-and-exit is pivotally connected to the frame, and the guide plate is operative to rotate around an axis of a pivoting shaft and is configured to guide a moving direction of the banknote when the banknote is being collected. The pressing plate is configured to support the collected banknotes and press the banknotes towards the guide plate while the banknotes are being separated. One end of the guide plate far away from the entrance-and-exit is provided with a force-releasing surface configured to support the guide plate when the pressing plate presses the banknotes towards the guide plate.
