Image recording apparatus

An image recording apparatus includes: a housing including a frame and a conveyance path; a recording device which records an image on a sheet conveyed along the conveyance path; a first roller located upstream of the recording device; a second roller opposed to the first roller; a guide member pivotable between a first position for partly defining the conveyance path and a second position where the conveyance path is open; a roller holder coupled to the guide member and supporting the second roller; an urging portion which urges the second roller toward the first roller; and an engaging portion supported by the roller holder and configured to, when the guide member is located at the first position, be engaged with the frame to position the roller holder to a third position where the second roller contacts the first roller by an urging force of the urging portion.

Image recording device

An image reading device includes a tray unit, a recording unit disposed above the tray unit, an outer guide defining a curved path extending from the tray unit to the recording unit, a sheet feeder configured to feed a sheet from the tray unit to the curved path, and a return guide disposed between the recording unit and the tray unit. The return guide pivots about a shaft and guides the sheet having an image recorded thereon back to the curved path. The tray unit includes at least one supporting portion. The return guide includes at least one supported portion. The at least one supporting portion of the tray unit engages the at least one supported portion of the return guide such that the return guide takes a guiding position in which the return guide defines a return path extending to the curved path.

Printing apparatus to prevent paper-jamming

A printing apparatus includes a discharge unit and a tray. The discharge unit discharges a recording medium printed by a print unit in a first direction. The tray includes a supporting surface that supports the recording medium discharged from the discharge unit, a protruding portion that forms part of the supporting surface and that protrudes in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and a convex portion that is provided on the supporting surface and that protrudes upward from the supporting surface. The convex portion is formed on an inner side of the protruding portion in the second direction and overlaps the protruding portion in the first direction.

A media conveying apparatus includes a media table on which media are to be placed, a conveyor, an ejector, an ejection table, and circuitry. The conveyor conveys the media placed on the media table. The ejector ejects the media conveyed by the conveyor. The ejection table is movable and disposed above the media table to stack the media ejected by the ejector. The circuitry controls the ejection table to be lowered based on an amount of media stacked on the ejection table while the media on the media table are sequentially conveyed. The circuitry controls the ejection table to be raised in response to completion of conveyance of all the media on the media table.

PRINTING APPARATUS

A technology that enables downsizing of an apparatus is to be provided. A printing apparatus includes: an accommodating unit configured to accommodate a print medium; a conveyance unit configured to convey the print medium fed from the accommodating unit in a first direction; a printing unit configured to perform printing on the print medium conveyed by the conveyance unit; and a first stacking part configured to stack the print medium, on which printing has been performed by the printing unit, at a first position and a second position which is different from the first position in a second direction intersecting with the first direction, wherein the first stacking part is arranged above the accommodating unit, below the printing unit.
