Sheet conveyance apparatus

An endless conveyer belt is stretched between drive and idle rollers. A carriage is arranged so as to reciprocate along the endless conveyer belt. A suction box is arranged between upper and lower belt portions of the endless conveyer belt and fixed to the carriage. A stopper plate is fixed to the carriage and extends across a conveyer surface and upward from the conveyer surface. A conveyance roller pair is arranged at the upstream end of the conveyer surface. A region of the conveyer surface from a stopper plate to the upstream end u forms a sheet accumulation area. A cover sheet covers a region upstream of the suction box in the sheet accumulation area. The cover sheet is subjected to tension in the longitudinal direction by a winding-type constant force plate spring and continually tensed spaced apart from the endless conveyer belt.

Continuous Motion Induction Sealer Rotary Die & Vacuum Conveyor

A continuous motion induction sealer rotary die and vacuum conveyor operates by pulling film thorough a rotary die assembly comprising a die and anvil geared together to rotate against each other cutting film patches from the film and securing them to the anvil surface via a vacuum pressure. The anvil then continues rotating to deposit the film patches onto a vacuum conveyor releasing the anvil vacuum to facilitate the transfer. The vacuum conveyor then conveys the film patches to an induction seal head and directs air pressure under the patch to transfer it to the induction seal head which secures the film patch via vacuum pressure while transferring and sealing the film patch to a container.

Web winding device

The present invention provides an improved belted reel which is particularly well suited for the winding of soft, bulky tissue webs and overcomes the limitations of the prior art. The belted reel is capable of providing coordinated web tension and nip control by providing the winding parent roll with two nip pointsthe first nip formed between the winding roll and the second between the winding roll and a second support drum. Preferably the drum encircled by the endless belt lies above the second support drum and the first and second nip points lie in the same vertical plane.

AN APPARATUS FOR WINDING A WEB OF PAPER MATERIAL AND A METHOD OF REMOVING DUST

The invention relates to an apparatus for winding a paper web. It comprises a rotatably mounted reel spool (3) onto which paper can be wound and an endless flexible belt (5) which is permeable to air and supported by support rolls (12). The flexible belt is positioned adjacent the reel spool (3) to engage the web against the reel spool during winding such that the endless flexible belt is deflected from the path of travel. The flexible belt has a web-contacting side (6). An actuator (9) is arranged to position the reel spool (3) and the flexible belt relative to each other to vary the amount of deflection. The apparatus further comprises a cleaning device (11) with at least one nozzle for blowing air against the web-contacting side of the flexible belt at a point where the flexible belt is not in contact with the paper. The invention also relates to a method of removing dust particles.

The invention relates to a vacuum system for securing items in printing machines, comprising a printing table (2) with a perforated surface and, in relation thereto, a vacuum system for securing the items to be printed, which comprises a box structure (8) connected to a suction system and provided with a perforated wall in relation to the surface of the printing table (2), said box structure (8) having lateral panels that vertically close the interior thereof, which panels can be moved in order to adjust the gap between them in relation to the width of the items to be printed.

Paper sheet conveyance device and separation/collection device

A separation/collection device is provided in a paper sheet conveyance device for generating an airstream in a conveyance duct and for conveying a paper sheet inserted into the conveyance duct by being pushed from behind by a conveyance subsidiary body moving in the conveyance duct by receiving the airstream. The separation/collection device separates and collects the conveyance subsidiary body and the paper sheet at an ending portion of a conveyance path. The separation/collection device includes a separation unit that passes the paper sheet pushed and conveyed by the conveyance subsidiary body, in a downstream direction, and that stops the conveyance subsidiary body by contacting the conveyance subsidiary body with the separation unit, a tubular path part that receives the paper sheet output from the separation unit, and a rib provided on an inner wall of the path part.
