Aquatic acoustic enclosure

The present invention relates to a sound emitter device (1) that is immersible or semi-immersible in a liquid, the device comprising both a rigid hollow body (3) having at least one opening one of its ends (31, 32) and arranged to be immersed at least in part in the liquid, in such a manner that the main axis (4) passing through the opening of the hollow body (3) is substantially vertical, and also at least one electrodynamic loudspeaker (5, 51, 52) comprising at least one diaphragm (6, 61, 62), at least one magnet, at least one moving coil (7, 71, 72). The at least one loudspeaker (5, 51, 52) is fastened inside the hollow body (3) in the proximity of at least one immersed opening of the hollow body (3), the device (1) and its hollow body (3) being arranged so that, when the device (1) is at least semi-immersed, the diaphragm (6, 61, 62) of the at least one loudspeaker (5, 51, 52) is in contact with the liquid on at least one of its sides and closes the immersed opening (32) of the hollow body (3).

LIVEWELL FOR FISHING BOATS
20210284293 · 2021-09-16 ·

Some fishing boats include a livewell system. This document describes livewell systems that have multiple modes of operation. The modes of operation include, at least, a first mode with a lower water level and a second mode with a higher water level. While the livewell is operating in the second mode, the tank is nearly full of water. Accordingly, with a nearly full tank, the water in the livewell will resist sloshing around while the boat is navigating rough seas or travelling at high speeds or for long distances. Moreover, the health of the fish in the livewell will be protected because of the water's lessened tendency to slosh around in the livewell.

Livewells of a vessel are used to store caught fish, such as during fishing competitions. Apparatuses, systems, and methods track and use fishing information for efficient operation and control of livewells and the associated pumps. An example marine electronic device of a vessel comprises a user interface with a display screen, a processor, and memory including computer program code. The memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the processor, cause the marine electronic device to receive an indication of a fish catch and cause, in response to receiving the indication of the fish catch, a pump associated with a livewell of the vessel to one of fill the livewell with water or recirculate water in the livewell, wherein the water is pumped from a body of water in which the vessel is at least partially submerged.
