Apparatus and methods for producing shrink-wrap packaging
A vacuum table (18) includes an introduction section (102) in fluid communication with a vacuum chamber (120) and a compartment (139) dividable by an adjustment partition (156) into primary and secondary vacuum chambers (139a, 139b). Adjustment plates (130) having adjustment apertures (138) are positionable over apertures (128) of the conveying surface (100) of the vacuum table (18) generally perpendicular to the conveying direction. Film (20) extends from between the nip of pinch rollers (12, 13) to the conveying surface (100) and is tensioned therebetween to be cut in excess of 105 cuts per minute by a servo motor controlled rotary cutter (30) which stops after each cut. The shaft (32) of the rotary cutter (30) includes a bore (310) extending from the idle end to provide servo-control loop stability.
Braking wrap dispenser
A film dispenser apparatus for dispensing film from a film roll including a holding member. The holding member can define a longitudinal axis that extends from a first end to a second end. The holding can include a brake portion defined on the second end of the holding member, and a connecting portion extending radially inward from the brake portion. The second end of the holding member can define a slot including a first portion extending across the width of the brake portion and a second portion and a third portion extending across the length of the brake portion. The film dispenser can further include a rotating member defining an axis of rotation. The longitudinal axis of the holding member can be aligned with the axis of rotation of the rotating member.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING FILM AND METHOD FOR WINDING OFF FILM
The separator production method in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes a coated article winding off step of winding off, from a core, a separator original sheet which has been taken up in a coated article taking up step of winding the separator original sheet on an outer peripheral surface of the core while oscillating the core in a rotation axis direction, and the core is oscillated in the rotation axis direction in the coated article winding off step.
Stationary idler roll with low coefficient of friction
An idler roll employed in a blown film extrusion line is non turning and a plurality of wear strips are removably attached to the idler roll at circumferentially spaced positions around the idler roll. The wear strips engage blown film passing over the idler roll. The wear strips have reduced coefficients of friction than that of the idler roll, have high wear resistances and the blown film passing over the wear strips cleans and polishes the surface area of the wear strips the film moves across, substantially making the wear strips and the non turning idler roll maintenance free compared with idler rollers with bearings.
Hand dispenser for stretch wrap comprised of paper or cardbaord
A film dispenser for dispensing stretch wrap or other flexible materials. The film dispenser is comprised of paper or cardboard. The film dispenser being inserted into an extended core or having the extended core inserted into the film dispenser.
FILM TEARING DEVICE AND FILM TEARING METHOD
A film tearing device for tearing a film on a component to be torn is referred to, includes: an easy-to-tear sticker, including a clamping portion and an adhesive portion disposed adjacently in a first direction; a film tearing roller, including a first portion and a second portion disposed opposite to each other, where the film tearing roller is configured to have a first state and a second state, in the first state, the first portion is matched with the second portion to clamp the clamping portion, and in the second state, the film tearing roller clamping the clamping portion rotates and moves in a second direction parallel to a surface of the component to be torn; a first moving structure for controlling the first portion and/or the second portion to move such that the film tearing roller is in the first state and second state.
OPTICAL FILTERS, METHODS OF MANUFACTURE, AND METHODS OF USE
An optical filter includes a first film having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first side, and a second side. A second film is included that has an upper surface, a lower surface, a first side, and a second side. A third film is included that has an upper surface, a lower surface, a first side, and a second side. The first side of the first film is connected to the second side of the second film. The first side of the second film is connected to the second side of the third film. The lower surface of the first film is optically adjacent to the upper surface of the second film. The lower surface of the second film is optically adjacent to the upper surface of the third film. Methods of manufacture and use are also described.
FILM PRODUCING METHOD AND FILM WASHING DEVICE
Contamination of a washing liquid in a washing tank is suppressed at a downstream side of a path for transferring a film. A washing device includes a roller for transferring a heat-resistant separator from a washing tank to another washing tank. Two rollers contact one surface of the heat-resistant separator, and a remaining roller, between the two rollers, contacts the other surface of the heat-resistant separator. A washing liquid removed from the heat-resistant separator by the remaining roller returns to the washing tank.
Dispenser for material
The container may hold a material, such as, plastic wrap. The first container portion may include a first leg with an engagement member. The engagement member may engage the second leg during the cutting process. In addition, the engagement member may disengage from the second leg during or after the cutting process. When the user wishes to cut the material, the user pushes down on the first container portion. The material is held between the engagement member and the second leg at a first location. The third leg may assist in holding the material at a second location. The holding of the material in tension may facilitate the cutting of the material. As the user continues to push down on the first container portion, the engagement member disengages from the second leg. The user can remove the portion of material without opening the first container portion.
Apparatus for Maintaining Tension in a Vertically Positioned Horizontally Traversing Plastic Film Web
In an automated machine that forms a vertically positioned and horizontally traversing web of plastic film into bags and fills the bags with material, the apparatus maintains tension in the plastic film web and supports and maintains the web horizontally aligned as it traverses through the machine. The apparatus includes upstream and downstream guide rollers. The upstream roller is mounted on an arm which is rotatably biased about a vertical axis and is thereby moveable. The upstream roller has an outer concave perimeter surface and the downstream roller has an outer convex perimeter surface. A longitudinal edge portion of the web extends horizontally from an upstream location, around the upstream roller, to and around the downstream roller and to a downstream location. The web extends vertically below the longitudinal edge portion. A rotational sensor coupled to the arm provides an output signal representative of the location of the arm.
