An adhesive tape support substrate for supporting adhesive tape in use. The support substrate has an outer surface, an outwardly facing surface and/or an outermost surface of the support substrate that is or visually appears black or near black in colour, or is or appears visually as another colour other than black or near black and has a light reflection value (LRV) of approximately 65% or less and/or a light absorption value (LAV) of approximately 35% or more.

The disclosure discloses an adhesive tape cartridge including a housing and an adhesive tape roll. The adhesive tape roll is disposed in the housing and winds an adhesive tape. The adhesive tape includes a first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer, and a separation material layer. The first adhesive layer comprises an adhesive with a first pigment added. The second adhesive layer is disposed on one side of the first adhesive layer in a thickness direction and comprises an adhesive with a second pigment added. The separation material layer is disposed on the one side of the second adhesive layer in the thickness direction. A volume ratio of the second pigment in the second adhesive layer is smaller than a volume ratio of the first pigment in the first adhesive layer.

The present disclosure provides a conveying roller cleaning method, a conveying roller cleaning device, and a material tape conveying equipment. In the conveying roller cleaning method, the conveying roller is configured to convey a material tape, and the cleaning method includes: connecting a head end of an adhesive tape with a tail end of the material tape; and the material tape pulling the adhesive tape to move so as to make the adhesive tape pass through the conveying roller and remove impurities from a surface of the conveying roller. The conveying roller cleaning method can clean the conveying roller.

A spool unloading device comprising: a spindle; a first bulk spool of material is mounted on the spindle, wherein the spindle is rotatably controlled to dispense the material; a series of pulleys for receiving the unspooled material such that a variable length of the material is stored within the device before exiting the device to an upstream equipment; and a drive mechanism for indexing the unspooled material exiting the spool unloading machine at a controlled rate.

An apparatus and a method for dispensing discrete sections of double-sided adhesive tape, comprising a reel support unit whose position is adjustable so as to vary a length of the section of double-sided adhesive tape to be dispensed.

A system comprising: a source of a tape comprising a material associated with an adhesive and at least one removable liner; an applicator head; a cutting mechanism; at least one drive feeding mechanism configured to index the tape from the source to the applicator head at a controlled rate; wherein the applicator head is controllable to apply the material on a surface or a substrate; and wherein the applicator head comprises a cutting mechanism configured to sever the material while leaving the at least one removable liner intact.

A material bin apparatus includes a base and a plurality of material bins. An accommodating space is formed in each material bins. The accommodating space is configured for stacking and storing a plurality of materials. The material bin includes a fixed member and a movable member. The fixed member is fixed to the base. The movable member is movably disposed on the base and defines the accommodating space with the fixed member. The movable members of at least some of the material bins can synchronously move away from or approach the fixed members.

An end effector configured for the application of double-sided adhesive tapes and comprising: a roll mount; a guide arrangement; an application arrangement; and a removal arrangement. The the roll mount is designed to receive a roll of adhesive tape, the guide arrangement is designed for guiding an adhesive tape provided by a roll of adhesive tape arranged in the roll mount from the roll mount to the application arrangement, and the application arrangement is designed for guiding an adhesive tape fed to the application arrangement in such a manner that, in an application region, the adhesive layer of the adhesive tape lies on the outer side of the end effector, as a result of which the end effector can bring a substrate which is to be adhesively bonded into contact with the adhesive layer of the adhesive tape.
