The invention provides a fishing chair for use in sea fishing; the fishing chair having pivotably mounted thereon a gimbal 2 comprising a socket structure for receiving a butt of a fishing rod; wherein a releasable restraining device is provided which can be set so as to prevent the gimbal from pivoting in a first direction, whereby pivoting movement of the gimbal in an opposite direction to the first direction serves to release the restraining device so that the gimbal can pivot in the said first direction. Also provided is a restraining device for use in the fishing chair of the invention.

An Ice Hot Seat provides ice fishermen with both heat and light while fishing at night and includes a hollow cylindrical base in the shape of a bucket with a seat on top. A rectangular opening is near the bottom of the base. A liquid gas lantern is placed within the base and a seat having a specially designed heat tunnel is placed on the top of the base. The base is semi-transparent providing light for the nighttime angler. The heat tunnel channels heat from the lantern out through the front of the seat so that an angler can warm their hands. A band with pockets encircles the base to hold extra fishing articles.

A system is provided for organizing accessories. The system includes one or more base assemblies coupleable to a seat pedestal. Each base assembly is adjustable between a disengaged configuration and an engaged configuration. One or more arm assemblies include one or more arm members and one or more connection members coupled to the arm members. A first arm member is coupled to a first base assembly such that the first arm member is rotatable about the seat pedestal when the first base assembly is in the disengaged configuration and securely positioned relative to the seat pedestal to extend radially from the seat pedestal in one of a plurality of directions when the first base assembly is in the engaged configuration. One or more accessories are coupled to the arm assemblies. A first accessory is coupled to a second arm member or a first connection member.

An ice fishing accessory support apparatus for supporting fishing accessories may comprise a base portion for resting upon a surface, and an upright portion mounted on the base portion. The upright portion may be movable with respect to the base portion between collapsed and deployed positions. The collapsed position may be characterized by the upright portion oriented substantially parallel to the base portion and the deployed position being characterized by the upright portion oriented substantially perpendicular to the base portion. At least one shelf portion may be mounted on the upright portion, and may be movable between a lowered position and a raised position. The raised position may be characterized by the shelf portion oriented substantially perpendicular to the upright portion and the lowered position being characterized by the shelf portion oriented substantially parallel to the upright portion.

An ice fishing accessory support apparatus for supporting fishing accessories may comprise a base portion for resting upon a surface, and an upright portion mounted on the base portion. The upright portion may be movable with respect to the base portion between collapsed and deployed positions. The collapsed position may be characterized by the upright portion oriented substantially parallel to the base portion and the deployed position being characterized by the upright portion oriented substantially perpendicular to the base portion. At least one shelf portion may be mounted on the upright portion, and may be movable between a lowered position and a raised position. The raised position may be characterized by the shelf portion oriented substantially perpendicular to the upright portion and the lowered position being characterized by the shelf portion oriented substantially parallel to the upright portion.

A fishing accessory organizer that is installed underneath of a boat seat to allow a user to conveniently locate and retrieve equipment. The fishing accessory organizer includes a container body through which a seat pole hole traverses. The container body is fitted around a pedestal pole of a boat seat, wherein the pedestal pole traverses through the seat pole hole, such that the container body may freely rotate about the pedestal pole. A plurality of organization cavities is formed into the container body, wherein each of the plurality of organization cavities is of various shape and size to accommodate different fishing equipment. A locking plate positioned below the container body allows the user to adjust the height of the container body and configure the optimal reach.

A portable rod holder assembly includes a crate and a bucket positionable in the crate for transporting the bucket. A lid is positionable on the bucket for closing the bucket and a cushion is applied to the lid to be set upon by a user. A frame is pivotally attached to the crate and the frame is positionable in a stored position or a deployed position. A plurality of fishing rod holders is each attached to the frame to hold fishing rods.
