METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COMMISSIONING A PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
A method and an arrangement for commissioning a passenger transportation system includes a mobile device that is computer-controlled from an application and which is configured to exchange data both with a programmable controller controlling the passenger transportation system and with an external database in which configuration information regarding configurations of a plurality of passenger transportation systems is stored. The method steps are: retrieving, from the external database by the computer-controlled mobile device, configuration information that details information regarding a configuration of the passenger transportation system; requesting, by the computer-controlled mobile device under consideration of the configuration information, commissioning information which details information regarding parameters that must be set within the scope of a commissioning of the passenger transportation system; and transmitting the commissioning information to the controller controlling the passenger transportation system. As a result, a commissioning process can be significantly simplified and is less susceptible to faults.
Elevator electrical safety actuator control
Elevator systems and methods are provided. The systems include a traveling component movable along a guide rail within an elevator shaft, an elevator machine operably connected to the traveling component and including a machine brake, and an overspeed safety system. The overspeed safety system includes a safety brake and an electromechanical actuator, the brake engageable with the guide rail. A safety system controller operably connects to the electromechanical actuator and triggers the electromechanical actuator due to at least a detected triggering event. A temporary power supply is operably connected to the overspeed safety system to provide power in the event of a power failure.
ELEVATOR SYSTEMS
An elevator system includes an elevator car moveable between a plurality of landings and a brake configured to stop the elevator car from moving within the elevator shaft. The system includes a safety controller and at least one safety device. The safety controller monitors for a change in status of the at least one safety device. Upon detection of a change to a new status, the safety controller evaluates whether the new status is a first status corresponding to an emergency situation or a second status corresponding to a non-critical change. The safety controller is further configured to apply the brake immediately to stop the elevator car when the new status is a first status or allow the elevator car to move to a landing when the new status is a second status.
MULTICAR ELEVATOR SYSTEM
The invention relates to a multicar elevator system, comprising: a plurality of elevator cars; an elevator shaft system; the plurality of the elevator cars and the elevator shaft system comprising a plurality of elevator components; a controller; the multicar elevator system further comprising: an elevator maintenance system configured to: receive the measurement data; determine the operational condition of the respective elevator component; and generate a maintenance signal for the at least one elevator component, a maintenance is scheduled in accordance with the operational condition of the respective at least one elevator component before a failure of the at least one elevator component. The invention also relates to a method and a computer program product.
