Elevator provided with a safety apparatus arrangement, and a safety apparatus
The object of the invention is an elevator provided with a safety apparatus arrangement, which elevator comprises at least an elevator car traveling along guide rails and a safety brake device, such as a safety gear, for stopping undesired movement of the elevator car, as well as a transmission mechanism for activating the safety gear. The safety apparatus arrangement comprises a tuning apparatus disposed on the elevator car for detecting a presence on the roof of the elevator car, which tuning apparatus comprises means for pre-activating the transmission mechanism when a presence on the roof of the elevator car has been detected.
Elevator provided with a safety device arrangement
The object of the invention is an elevator provided with a safety device arrangement, which elevator comprises at least an elevator car traveling along guide rails and a safety brake device for stopping unintended movement of the elevator car. The safety device arrangement comprises a tuning apparatus disposed on the elevator car for detecting a presence on the roof of the elevator car.
MOVEABLE MAINTENANCE ASSEMBLIES FOR ELEVATORS
Moveable elevator car maintenance assemblies having a fixed portion fixedly attached to the elevator car, the fixed portion forming a portion of a frame of the elevator car, a moveable portion arranged within the fixed portion, the moveable portion moveable relative to the fixed portion from a first position to a second position, and at least one component removably mounted to the moveable portion. The at least one component is removable from the moveable portion when the moveable portion is in the second position.
SAFETY SYSTEM FOR A SERVICE SPACE WITHIN AN ELEVATOR SHAFT
The invention concerns a safety arrangement of an elevator facility for safeguarding a work environment in an elevator shaft by actuating an actuator ensuring that an elevator car is not moving unintentionally during a safety situation, the elevator facility having a control system to which the safety arrangement is connected. According to the invention the safety arrangement comprises hydraulic activation means including a suspended floating platform being vertically movable, under which platform a sensing hydraulic cylinder is installed for activating the actuator upon loading of the platform.
SAFETY DEVICE OF A LIFT SYSTEM
A safety device of a lift system may include a car comprising an evaluation device and a measuring device. Conditions where departure from a door zone with an open car door or where impermissible accelerations/speeds are reached within the door zone are identifiable by way of the evaluation device and output signals from the measuring device. In such conditions, a control signal may be generated for braking the car. A safety circuit may be connected to the evaluation device and ensure a first safe zone in a shaft head of a lift shaft during an inspection run. The safety circuit may have a safety switch, and the car may include a tripping means for tripping the safety switch. The safety switch and the tripping means have a first relative position upon which the first safe zone is based, and entry of the car into the first safe zone during the inspection run is preventable by tripping the safety switch, which leads to generation of the control signal and braking of the car.
ACCESSIBLE ELEVATOR BUFFER
An accessible buffer assembly (200, 300, 400, 500, 600) for a buffer (202, 302, 402, 502, 602) of an elevator car (206, 306, 406, 506, 606) is provided. The assembly (200, 300, 400, 500, 600) includes an elevator car (206, 306, 406, 506, 606) having an access panel (104) and a buffer (202, 302, 402, 502, 602) movably attached to the elevator car (206, 306, 406, 506, 606) and configured to provide a safety feature to the elevator car (206, 306, 406, 506, 606). The buffer (202, 302, 402, 502, 602) is movable from a first position to a second position, the first position being a secured, operational position of the buffer to provide the safety feature, and the second position being an inspection position that is removed from the first position.
ELEVATOR OPERATION AND SERVICE PANEL
A multi-use interface for use in an elevator includes an input device to receive input and a selection device associated with the input device, the selection device to select between an operation mode and a service mode, wherein the operation mode allows the input device to receive a standard elevator function input, the multi-use interface generating a standard elevator function output in response to the standard elevator function input, and the service mode allows the input device to receive a service function input, the multi-use interface generating a service function output in response to the service function input.
ELEVATOR SAFETY DEVICE
A surface-mountable elevator motion detector includes a housing, removably mountable upon a surface of a movable element of an elevator system within an elevator hoistway, and a microcontroller circuit. The detector includes a motion sensor and an indicator device, coupled to the microcontroller circuit, configured to activate the indicator device upon motion of the movable element.
MULTI-STAGE DETECTION TRIGGER FOR HUMAN SENSING
An elevator system, having: an elevator car, a hoistway, and a pit; a sensor assembly, including a sensor configured to capture and process images; an elevator safety chain; wherein the sensor assembly is configured to: monitor in first sensing mode to detect whether an object is located in a first area of the elevator system; after the object is detected in the first area in the first sensing mode, monitor in a second sensing mode that is more sensitive than the first sensing mode to detect the object in the second sensitivity mode; and upon detecting the object in the second sensitivity mode, the elevator safety chain is opened by the sensor assembly to stop the elevator car.
TOP OF CAR HANDRAIL VIRTUAL SAFETY NET
An elevator system, having: a hoistway, a pit and an elevator car; a sensor assembly, wherein the sensors are distributed about the elevator car and configured to form a virtual safety net (VSN) around at least a portion of a first area that is exterior to the elevator car; and an elevator safety, wherein the sensor assembly is configured to: monitor for a breach of the VSN by an object that is potentially human; and upon detecting the breach of the VSN by the object, opening the elevator safety chain and stoping the elevator car.
