ELEVATOR PASSENGER INTERFACE INCLUDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE FEATURES
A method for making elevator service requests. The method includes determining a destination requested by a passenger responsive to a passenger touching an appropriate portion of a touch screen of a passenger interface device configured to allow a passenger to indicate a request for elevator service by touching the screen, an assistance up button and an assistance down button near the touch screen, determining that the assistance up button or the assistance down button is being pressed, and determining a destination requested by a passenger responsive to a passenger manipulating the assistance up button or the assistance down button and then subsequently manipulating the assistance up button and assistance down button.
SUPER GROUP ARCHITECTURE WITH ADVANCED BUILDING WIDE DISPATCHING LOGIC - DISTRIBUTED GROUP ARCHITECTURE
A method of operating a dispatcher of an elevator group of a building elevator system having a plurality of elevator systems organized into multiple elevator groups including: receiving an elevator call, the elevator call including a desired destination; transmitting elevator status data from the elevator group to one or more other elevator groups of the building elevator system; receiving elevator status data from each of the one or more other elevator groups of the building elevator system; determining a verdict depicting whether an elevator car of the elevator group is best to serve the elevator call in response to the elevator status data of each of the one or more other elevator groups of the building elevator system; and calling an elevator car in response to the verdict.
ELEVATOR CAR ROUTE SELECTOR
According to an aspect, a method includes receiving a passenger request to reserve an elevator car of an elevator system to travel to a targeted destination. At least two different travel options to the targeted destination are determined based on a plurality of elevator car travel plans comprising at least two elevator cars having different travel ranges. The at least two different travel options are output to an interactive display. At least one of the at least two elevator cars is reserved responsive to a user selection of one of the at least two different travel options.
ELEVATOR CALL DEVICE AND A DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides an elevator call request device and a display control method thereof, and it pertains to the technical field of elevators. The elevator call request device according to the present invention comprises: a touch display screen which is provided to passengers for performing the operation of entering a call request command, a statistical analysis module which is configured to count the number of entry operations that have been performed by time so as to obtain historical operation statistics, and a display control module which is configured to dynamically control display parameters of the touch display screen by time based on the historical operation statistics. The elevator call request device of the present invention can dynamically control display parameters in an individualized manner according to its own state of use, which can not only save energy and prolong the service life, but also realize good passenger experience.
INTERACTION TERMINAL AND SYSTEM FOR ELEVATOR
An elevator interactive terminal and an elevator interactive system. The elevator interactive system of the present invention comprises an elevator interactive terminal, configured with a social communication media module, wherein a user is registered as a first registered user in the social communication media module; and a server coupled to a communication bus of an elevator system, configured with the social communication media module and to register an elevator as the second registered user in the social communication media module, wherein, based on the social communication media module, interactive communication is performed between the first registered user on the elevator interactive terminal corresponding to the user and the second registered user on the server corresponding to the elevator.
ELEVATOR DISPATCHING
An elevator system (2) comprises at least one elevator car (6) configured for traveling along a hoistway (4) between a plurality of landing area (8a, 8b, 8c) areas (8a, 8b, 8c) located at different floors (13a, 13b, 13c). A method of controlling movement of at least one elevator car (6) in the elevator system (2) comprises receiving on at least a subset of the floors (13a, 13b, 13c) from a mobile device (24a-24e) a radio signal representative of the number of potential passengers (22) on the respective floor (13a, 13b, 13c), and controlling movement of the elevator car (6) based on the received radio signals.
WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY IN AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM
The invention relates to a method of providing a seamless wireless connection in an elevator system of a building. The method comprises receiving an elevator car request from a passenger who is on a source floor, dispatching an elevator car to the source floor in response to the elevator car request, selecting at least one wireless local area network (WLAN) established in the building, and forwarding the selected at least one WLAN via a network node placed in at least one of an elevator hall of the source floor, the dispatched elevator car, or an elevator hall of a destination floor.
