A radio signal apparatus provided in the present invention is used in an elevator system and broadcasts an identity of the radio signal apparatus. The identity includes a floor information bit. The floor information bit is used to indicate floor information of the radio signal apparatus. The present invention can facilitate rapid and convenient acquisition of floor information by a personal mobile terminal, and the connection capacity between the personal mobile terminal and the radio signal apparatus does not need to be occupied.

A method of operating an elevator system is provided. The method comprising: receiving a first elevator call from a mobile device on a first floor, the first elevator call including a destination request to travel to a second floor; moving a first elevator car to the first floor in response to the first elevator call; moving the first elevator car away from the first floor; detecting acceleration data of the mobile device; detecting elevator acceleration data of the first elevator car; comparing the acceleration data of the mobile device and the elevator acceleration data of the first elevator car; and determining whether the mobile device is within the first elevator car based upon the comparison of the acceleration data of the mobile device and the elevator acceleration data of the first elevator car.

Elevator system recognizing signal pattern based on user motion

An elevator system includes a destination control system and an input system. An elevator car is called by an identification-device of a passenger being read by the input system. The destination control system is designed to recognize a signal-pattern that is produced by the passenger moving the respective identification device relative to parts of the input system. The destination control system is programmed to process different programs depending on the signal-pattern. Furthermore, a method for biasing elevator movements of such elevator systems is disclosed.

A system and a method of implementing and using a preset elevator call using an elevator system and a mobile device are provided. The method includes generating the preset elevator call that includes programmed conditions that include a destination floor, storing the preset elevator call in a user profile on the mobile device and at least one corresponding triggering condition, retrieving the preset elevator call based on detecting the corresponding triggering condition, and executing the retrieved preset elevator call.

An elevator trip based on destinations and activity parameters of a user is planned by a system having an elevator controller of an elevator installation, a storage device storing building plan data and a route planning computer. The user's trip inquiry, including a desired destination and a desired activity parameter, is received by the planning computer. Building plan data is read from the storage device by the planning computer. The current location of the user is determined by the planning computer, which calculates at least one route proposal based on the user's location, the destination and the activity parameter. The route proposal is communicated to the user. Upon receipt of a confirmation that the user selected the route proposal, a control signal identifying a boarding floor and a destination floor is transmitted by the planning computer to the elevator controller. The elevator installation is controlled according to the control signal.

Elevator system

An elevator system that allows a plurality of autonomous mobile bodies to be rearranged in an alighting order in a car. The elevator system includes processing circuitry to move and stop an elevator car based on information indicating destination floors transmitted from autonomous mobile bodies, to select an autonomous mobile body in the car and an autonomous mobile body that will board the car as targets to be rearranged. The processing circuitry is further to determine an alighting order of the autonomous mobile bodies to be rearranged based on the destination floor of each of the autonomous mobile bodies to be rearranged, and to transmit information indicating the alighting order to each of the autonomous mobile bodies to be rearranged so that the autonomous mobile bodies are arranged one by one in the alighting order.

According to an example embodiment, an apparatus for scheduling elevator transport in an elevator system comprising one or more elevators is provided. The apparatus may be configured to: obtain, for a plurality of passengers, a respective transport request for elevator transport using said one or more elevators, the transport request comprising at least respective indications of an origin floor, a destination floor and a requested transport time window; derive, in dependence of said plurality of transport requests, a transport schedule that includes a respective transport allocation for each of said plurality of passengers, wherein a transport allocation for a passenger is derived in accordance with the requested transport time window indicated for the respective passenger, in view of transport allocations derived for other passengers and in view of a transport capacity of said one or more elevators and wherein the transport allocation for a passenger comprises at least a scheduled transport time for the respective passenger; and operate said one or more elevators in accordance with the derived transport schedule.

A computer-implemented method for generating and configuring content of an elevator destination dispatch kiosk. The kiosk includes a display. The method includes creating a kiosk database having kiosk data. The kiosk data outlines a plurality of destination floors associated with the elevator destination dispatch kiosk. The method comprises the step of using a computing structure remote from the elevator destination dispatch kiosk to automatically: (a) access the kiosk data in the kiosk database, and (b) generate a floor button layout. The method includes the step of communicating the floor button layout from the computing structure to the elevator destination dispatch kiosk to cause the floor button layout to be published on the display. An interface of the computing structure allows the floor button layout to be previewed before the floor button layout is communicated from the computing structure to the elevator destination dispatch kiosk.
