An interface for operating an elevator car includes an interface controller, a foil attached to a wall surface of a wall of the elevator car, the wall surface facing an inside of the elevator car, and at least one pressure-sensitive sensor configured for receiving user requests by an application of a pressure to the at least one sensor. The at least one sensor is connected to the interface controller, the interface controller transmitting the user requests received by the at least one sensor to a car controller of the elevator car, and wherein the at least one sensor is embedded in the foil.

An elevator operating device for inputting a travel request on a floor of a building has a touch-sensitive screen system, which has a screen region that is visible to a passenger, and a central control device. The central control device controls the screen system in a first mode, to display a first graphical user interface, and in a second mode, to display a second graphical user interface. The first graphical user interface comprises one or two travel direction symbols. The second graphical user interface comprises an edge zone for symbolizing a waiting time until the elevator car arrives on the floor, and a center zone for symbolizing an occupancy of the elevator car by passengers, wherein a displayed degree of filling of the center zone symbolizes an occupancy of the elevator car.

There is provided cancelling elevator calls via a touch screen. An elevator operating panel comprises a touch screen for displaying destination floor information and receiving input from a user. A selection of a destination floor for an elevator call is obtained from the user. The selected destination floor is displayed. A swiping gesture is obtained from the user. The elevator call is cancelled when the swiping gesture is applied to the displayed selected destination floor.

A target floor registration unit for use in an elevator system including a unit controller configured to receive assignment information, a user detection device operably coupled to the controller; wherein the user detection device is configured to determine whether a user is present at the target floor registration unit, and a display part; the display part configured to dynamically display the assignment information based in part on whether the user is present at the target floor registration unit.

An exemplary elevator destination entry system includes a passenger interface device that presents a visual representation of at least one item that will accompany a passenger on an elevator car. The passenger interface allows the passenger to select the visual representation. A controller is configured to receive indications of passenger requests for elevator service and an indication from the passenger interface device regarding a selected visual representation. The controller determines an amount of space within an elevator car required to accommodate the item based on predetermined space information corresponding to the selected visual representation. The controller assigns a car to a passenger request based on a determination that the assigned car will have adequate space to accommodate the passenger and the item.

Embodiments of systems and methods for digital control of elevator and other access gateways are described herein. More specifically, embodiments comprise systems and methods for retrofitting or outfitting elevator systems with digital control systems that can be universally applied to virtually every manufacturer's elevator systems.

Provided is an elevator landing guidance device including: a hall operation panel (2) provided on each of floors, which is configured to output a guide sound (A) for informing a position of the hall operation panel (2) and accept input of landing call registration; and a guide sound generator (3), which is provided to a landing of each of the floors for each of elevator machines, and which is configured to output a guide sound (B) for informing a position of the landing. When the landing call registration is input to the hall operation panel (2), the guide sound (B) is output from the guide sound generator (3) installed so as to correspond to one of the elevator machines, which is assigned to the landing call registration.

A system for enabling a mobile robot to utilize an elevator autonomously comprises a pressing module including at least one pressing finger adapted to press elevator call buttons on an elevator call control panel. A lifting device of the system supports the pressing module and selectively adjusts a height position of the pressing module for aligning the at least one pressing finger on the pressing module to height positions horizontally aligned with the elevator call buttons. A controller wirelessly communicates with the mobile robot and the pressing module. In response to a command sent by the mobile robot, the controller instructs the pressing module to press an elevator call button on the elevator call control panel associated with the command.

The present embodiment relates to a floor selection operation panel for elevating equipment. The floor selection operation panel for elevating equipment according to one aspect comprises: a panel including an opening; an electric compartment room disposed at a rear side of the panel; and a floor selection button disposed inside the electric compartment, wherein the floor selection button includes: a button body including a first body and a second body selectively exposed to the outside through the opening; a rotation shaft for rotating the button body; a printed circuit board disposed at a rear side of the button body, the printed circuit board including a switch and a germicidal lamp irradiating light toward the button body; and an elastic member disposed between the rotation shaft and the first body and between the rotation shaft and the second body.

Systems and methods for hoist elevator system operation are provided. Hoist elevator operation systems and methods operate using a wireless network that may include a plurality of wireless technologies. Hoist elevator operation systems include a floor call station installed on a level or floor of a construction site, as well as a car controller paired to an operator panel and installed in a hoist elevator car. A remote server and a base station may also be provided.
