The system includes: a first wireless processing unit configured to receive a request for elevator in a wired manner, and configured to forward the request for elevator in a wireless manner; and a second wireless processing unit configured to receive the request for elevator from the first wireless processing unit in a wireless manner, and configured to forward the request for elevator to an elevator controller in a wired manner.

There is provided a smart access control device (SACD) for access control to an elevator system, the SACD comprising a receiver, a processing unit, and a communication unit for receiving by the receiver an identifier from a user device associated to a user and for automatically determining by the processing unit a destination floor associated to the user based on the identifier received and access control data stored in a storage unit accessible to the processing unit, and for generating and transmitting a signal to the elevator system for automatically initiating an elevator car trip for the user to the destination floor determined by the processing unit. The method identifies a set of subjects approaching a set of elevators to generate a set of identities for the set of subjects. A set of initial priority statuses are generated for the set of subjects. Based on the set of identities and the set of initial priority statuses, an elevator dispatch solution is determined. The method updates at least a portion of the initial priority statuses to generate a set of subsequent priority statuses in response to a subset of subjects entering at least one elevator. The method determines an isolation response for a first subject of the subset of subjects and modifies the elevator dispatch solution based on the isolation response to generate an isolation dispatch solution. The at least one elevator executes the isolation dispatch solution.

A calibration method and system for virtual buttons, an elevator, and a storage medium. The method includes: receiving a first designation regarding a layout of the virtual buttons in a virtual keypad zone; receiving a second designation regarding a number of the virtual buttons; and determining a position of each of the virtual buttons in the virtual keypad zone according to the first designation and the second designation.

An automatically controlled door arrangement, such as a floor door of an elevator installation, includes: at least one door leaf actively moveable between an open position and a closed position; a drive moving the door leaf between the open and closed positions; a controller controlling the drive; a sensor system detecting people or objects in front of the door leaf; and a data connection for data exchange with an external computer. The door arrangement receives and processes signals from the sensor system in the controller, sends query data to the external computer via the data connection based on the processed signals, receives instruction data from the external computer, and controls the door leaf drive taking into account the instruction data. The door arrangement provides monitorable, automated and, if possible, stepless access to buildings, for example, for robots, or receiving and storing delivered goods through the door arrangement.

An illustrative example embodiment of an elevator passenger interface system, includes a visual detector configured to detect a visible image that includes an indication of a request for elevator service. A processor interprets the indication and provides an output that is useable by an elevator system to control an elevator car to respond to the request for elevator service.

Systems and methods having a touchless operating panel with buttons and an electronic circuit (EC). The system including a proximity sensor (PS) associated with an associated button and positioned proximate thereto. The PS arranged to generate a button detection zone around the associated button and detect a presence within the button detection zone. When the PS detects a presence of an object within the button detection zone in a time period, the EC receives proximity values about the detection from the PS. The EC detects if activation of the PS is intentional or unintentional, based on inputting into an activation assessment module, the received proximity values and any other proximity values received from one or more other PSs. When a detection is made that the PS is intentionally activated regarding the presence of the object within the button detection zone. The EC generates and emits a command action.
