A method of providing elevator data to a passenger including: receiving elevator data, the elevator data relating to an elevator car in an elevator system; wirelessly transmitting the elevator data to a mobile computing device; and conveying the elevator data to the passenger via a software application of the mobile computer device.

Methods and systems for elevator control are provided. The methods and systems include receiving, by a computing device comprising a processor, a request for at least one service associated with an elevator system from a user device, controlling an elevator car to travel to a specific floor in accordance with the request, controlling an elevator car door to be closed upon arriving at the specific floor, transmitting an indicator to the user device that the elevator car has arrived at the specific floor, and controlling the elevator car door to open upon receiving, by the computing device, an access request from the user device.

Embodiments of systems and methods for digital control of elevator and other access gateways are described herein. An elevator system according to the present invention includes: first processing circuitry to receive destination floor information transmitted from a movable body having a movement mechanism and second processing circuitry and being capable of boarding and alighting from a car of an elevator, to assign the car, in which a plurality of onboard positions are set, to a call based on the destination floor information received, and to assign one of the plurality of onboard positions to one movable body based on a destination floor of the movable body. A system for dynamic assignment of buttons on destination entry terminals (DETs) is provided. The system performs operations that include identifying a message for display on a touchscreen display of a destination entry system of an elevator. The message includes a selection button for display on the touchscreen display. The at least one selection button is displayed at a first location on the touchscreen display. The at least one selection button is displayed at a different location on the touchscreen display once a rearrangement criterion is satisfied.

An elevator group control device may handle load calls for an elevator system having an elevator car, whereby a load call includes a departure floor, a destination floor, load specification data and a time period which the load is to be transported from the departure floor to the destination floor. The allocating may include reserving a particular portion of the floor area of the elevator car for the load during a portion of the time period, based on the load specification data and the particular portion being available to accommodate the load during the portion of the time period.

An elevator calling operation based on a wrist-wearable smart device. An elevator calling operation system of the present invention comprises: an elevator control apparatus, and a wrist-wearable smart device wirelessly connected to the elevator control apparatus, wherein the wrist-wearable smart device comprises an identity identification module which stores identity identification information about a passenger, and a motion sensor which is used for acquiring elevator calling motion information about the passenger performing an elevator calling operation, and the wrist-wearable smart device transmits the elevator calling motion information, in association with the identity identification information, to the elevator control apparatus; and the elevator control apparatus comprises: a passenger identity recognition module and an elevator calling operation recognition module, the elevator calling operation recognition module used for recognizing the elevator calling operation of the passenger according to the elevator calling motion information from the motion sensor.

Disclosed is an elevator system including a system controller, wherein the system controller is configured to: render a plurality of determinations for effecting elevator service during a lockdown condition, including a first determination that an elevator car is transporting a first passenger to a first floor, a second determination that a lockdown event is occurring at a second floor, a third determination for the elevator car to transport the first passenger to a third floor to avoid travel proximate the second floor, and execute one or more communications including: a first communication to an elevator car controller for the elevator car to effect the third determination.

The system includes: a first wireless processing unit configured to receive a request for elevator in a wired manner, and configured to forward the request for elevator in a wireless manner; and a second wireless processing unit configured to receive the request for elevator from the first wireless processing unit in a wireless manner, and configured to forward the request for elevator to an elevator controller in a wired manner.
