REMOTE ELEVATOR DESTINATION DISPATCH AND AUTHORIZATION SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH SECURED BLE BEACONS AND SECURITY FALL-BACK
A system or method comprising and/or adapted for use with a remote or mobile application for dispatch or authorization of an elevator. An exemplary embodiment may further comprise programmable BLE beacons using shared secret key hashing technology, a cloud-services layer, and an on-premise middleware component. In an exemplary embodiment, a system or method may be adapted to listen in near real-time via a communications protocol such as WebSockets for car call requests and kiosk access control authorization messages.
Elevator Access Control System
An elevator access control system comprises at least two cameras (14, 16) including: a first camera (14) which is configured to be mounted to an elevator car (6) for capturing at least one first picture of persons residing within the elevator car (6), and a second camera (16) which is configured to be mounted to the elevator car (6) for capturing at least one second picture of persons residing within the elevator car (6). The at least one first picture allows to identify individual persons, and the at least one second picture allows to count the number of persons residing within the elevator car (6).
MOBILE DEVICE AND SYSTEMS FOR WIRELESS PEOPLE FLOW MANAGEMENT IN A BUILDING
According to an aspect, there are provided a mobile device for wireless people flow management. The mobile device comprises at least one processor; at least one memory; and a near field communication, NFC, reader; wherein the at least one memory comprises program code which, when executed on the at least one processor causes the mobile device to receive, from the NFC reader, information encoded in an NFC tag associated with a specific location in a building; determine control information to trigger at least one state change associated with the location based on the information encoded to the NFC tag; and send the control information to a control system of the building.
METHOD OF PRIORITIZING PASSENGER TRAVEL IN AN ELEVATOR
A method of prioritizing passenger travel in an elevator to one or more destination floors in a building, wherein the number of floors comprise at least high security floors and low security floors, includes identifying a security level of each passenger, verifying the security clearance level assigned to each passenger, generating a prioritized sequence to specify an order in which the cabin will travel to the destination floors based on the security clearance level, and executing a travel plan for the elevator cab causing the elevator cab to move to the relevant destination floors in the order specified in the prioritized sequence.
INTELLIGENT ELEVATOR CONTROL SYSTEM UTILIZING WIRELESS USER LOCATION AWARENESS
Embodiments are directed to an intelligent elevator control system utilizing wireless user location awareness. An embodiment of non-transitory computer-readable storage mediums includes instructions for detecting a mobile device of a user at a first wireless access point for an elevator system; requesting authentication of the user for use of the elevator system from an authentication server; upon receiving authentication for the user from the authentication server, the authentication identification of a first authorized destinations for the user, calling, by an elevator control, a first elevator for the user; and directing the first elevator to the first authorized destination.
BIOMETRIC PRE-IDENTIFICATION
A station device in a biometric pre-identification system uses identity to perform one or more actions. Identities are determined (such as via a backend) using biometric information. A biometric pre-identification device obtains biometric information and/or a digital representation thereof from a person approaching the station device. The biometric pre-identification device transmits such to the station device, facilitating the station to begin and/or perform various actions. The station device begins or performs the actions using the identity determined based on the biometric information before the person arrives at the station device.

ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A method of controlling operation of an elevator system (2), the elevator system (2) including a hoistway (4) extending between a plurality of landings (8) situated on different floors (9), and at least one elevator car (6) configured for moving along the hoistway (4) between the plurality of landings (8). The method includes receiving a control input indicating a passenger transport request, wherein the control input comprises at least one passenger transport request parameter; monitoring passengers (30) within or outside the elevator car (6) and determining at least one passenger parameter associated with the passengers (30); comparing the at least one passenger transport request parameter with the at least one passenger parameter; and controlling further operation of the elevator system (2) based on the result of said comparison.
