A transport apparatus for use in the transport of a heavy structure includes a shape-adjustable adapter realized to adjust between an initial shape and a mating shape; and an actuator configured to effect a change in shape of the shape-adjustable adapter into its initial shape to facilitate positioning of the adapter relative to the structure; and to effect a change in shape of the shape-adjustable adapter into its mating shape to engage the shape-adjustable adapter with a surface of the structure. A method of securing a frustoconical structure during transport is further provided.

The present disclosure refers to a mobile telescopic hydraulic crane, which may include at least one service opening in a terminal portion of a telescopic section adjacent to at least one hydraulic connector, wherein said at least one service opening is configured to allow access for a hand tool from the outside of the telescopic section to establish or disassemble a hydraulically sealed connection between a flexible hydraulic pipe and associated hydraulic connector within said telescopic arm. The at least one service opening allows for a quick and simple replacement of each hydraulic pipe within the telescopic secondary arm without significantly reducing the carrying capacity and reach of the crane.

A powered handler for handling a workpiece, comprising a body extending between a first and a second end, an input device adjacent the first end, a handling implement adjacent the second end, the handling implement operatively connected to the input device and operable to handle the workpiece, and a suspender having a proximate end mounted to the body at at least one pivot of the suspender defining a pitch axis of the powered handler, the body pivotable relative to the suspender about the pitch axis, the at least one pivot disposed between the input device and the handling implement and displaceable relative to the body to a balanced position located between a first and a second position closer to the second end than the first position, the suspender having a distal end spaced upwardly from the body for mounting the suspender to suspend the body from the suspender.
