The purpose of the present invention is to provide a safe device with which, by forcibly braking the rotation of a grapple by means of an external force, it is possible even for an unskilled operator to bring the rotation to a halt and further to prevent accidents due to such rotation. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide such a device at lower cost. According to the present invention, a grapple has a lower frame that has claws for gripping timber and an upper frame that rotatably holds the lower frame, and is provided with a rotation braking means that applies a brake on the rotation of the lower frame.

A lever device for lifting an object off the ground includes a lever member having a distal end that is positionable immediately adjacent a bottom end of the object. The lever device also includes a grip member that is operable with the lever member to lift the object off the ground. The grip member is adjustable relative to the lever member to accommodate a size of the object being lifted off the ground. The grip member includes a toothed or hooked end that grips an upper surface of the object to be lifted off the ground. The lever device further includes a handle that is graspable by a user to impart a lever force to the grip member and the lever member and thereby lift the object off the ground.

A crawler type crane having a base carrier unit having a control unit associated therewith and an upper portion assembly having a boom portion coupled at end to the base carrier unit and to a jib portion at an opposed end. The boom portion includes one or more selected boom sections that are articulatable relative to each other. A joint element provided with a swing dampener element and comprising a first joint part, a second joint part, and a swing dampener brake. A rotation control system may be provided for a material handling machine. The rotation control system may include a boom and a work tool attached to the boom. A swing motor may be capable of swinging the boom and the work tool. A work tool motor may be capable of rotating the work tool relative to the boom. An input device may generate a first signal indicative of a desired swinging of the boom and a second signal indicative of a desired rotation of the work tool. A controller may be in communication with the input device, the swing motor, and the work tool motor. The controller may be capable of actuating the work tool motor based only on the second signal during a first mode of operation and may be capable of actuating the work tool motor based on swinging of the boom during a second mode of operation.

A grapple for handling logs includes a base portion connectable to a working machine portion and at least one tine connected to the base portion. The at least one tine has a protruding length from the base portion. The grapple further includes a catch arm pivotably arranged relative to the base portion. The grapple can assume configurations with different protruding lengths of the at least one tine.

The method of effectively tracking activities for meeting participants during the online meeting disclosed in this invention can enhance the security for the online meeting.

The connector defines a connection axis and the connector is configured such that the connection axis approximately intersects the pivot axis.
