The present invention relates to a faade element and a rail for faade elements. The faade element comprises a frame and faade material. The frame is provided to surround and hold the faade material. The frame has an upper side with a length (L) and an elongate recess with an undercut that extends at least along a major part of the length (L) of the upper side of the frame. The recess with the undercut is adapted to receive the rail in a locking engagement, such that when the rail is in an engaged state a L-shaped engagement portion of the rail is inserted in the recess of the frame and a shoulder of the rail rests on the upper side surface at one side of the recess and a locking mechanism of the lifting rail rests on an upper side surface at another side of the recess.

Lifting anchor assembly for precast concrete structures

A lifting anchor assembly that is configured to be embedded in a tilt-up concrete structure includes an anchor member that has a pair of legs extending downward from a central portion of the anchor member to form a generally inverted U shape. A spacer is disposed at a lower end portion of each of the pair of legs, where the spacers each include a plurality of spacing arms that extend radially at different lengths from an engagement portion of the spacer that adjustably attaches at the anchor member. The engagement portion of the spacer is configured to engage the anchor member in different rotational positions to selectively position one of the plurality of spacing arms in a downward position for accommodating different thickness dimensions of concrete structures.

Lifting of building units

There is disclosed a lifting attachment for a building unit comprising sheeting and a support structure over which the sheeting is disposed, the attachment being configured such that it can be connected to or integrated into the support structure and comprising a lifting anchor that, when the attachment is so connected or integrated, is engageable by a component for lifting the unit such that a releasable interconnection between the component and the support structure passes through an opening in the sheeting.

Narrow Edge Lifting Insert
20180187436 · 2018-07-05 ·

A lifting insert, particularly for embedment in the edges of thin concrete elements is disclosed. The insert has a head at one end which has a through aperture for the connection of a co-operating lifting link and another end for embedment within the concrete. The head of the insert has an interior region bounded on each side by an exterior region which extends to the longitudinal edges of the insert. The exterior region is thicker than the interior region and the boundary between the two regions defines an abutment surface. The thickness and width of the interior region is dimensioned to allow the lifting link to be connected to the head of the insert and the thickness of the outer region is dimensioned so as to restrict the rotation of the lifting link when a load is applied normal to the axis of the insert, and to effectively transfer the load by a couple developed across the full cross-section of the insert e.g. when tilting the concrete element from a horizontal position to a vertical position.
