A telescopic boom includes a first frame having a curved portion whose section is substantially U-shaped, and a second frame connected to the first frame so that a closed section is formed. In the telescopic boom, the U-shaped curved portion of the first frame includes a plurality of protrusion portions formed at intervals in a circumferential direction of the telescopic boom, each protrusion portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the telescopic boom and being formed to have an arc-shaped section and protrude to the outside of the first frame.

Telescopic arm for operating machines

The telescopic arm for operating machines includes an outer arm, four coaxial slip-off elements, first, second, third, fourth and an operative head associated to the latter. The telescopic arm includes: a drive system, supported partially outside of the telescopic arm, for moving synchronously said slip-off members in their extending and returning travels; a hydraulic circuit, housed inside said telescopic arm, comprising a first and a second group of hydraulic conduits, which include, respectively, first and second flexible pipes, kept stretched during the returning step of said slip-off members by the corresponding idler pulleys, supported by the latter.

Mobile crane, mobile crane dolly and mobile crane system

A mobile crane has an undercarriage, a superstructure arranged on the undercarriage, a slewing gear by which the superstructure may be rotated relative to the undercarriage, a slewing gear brake that acts on the slewing gear to brake a rotation of the superstructure, and a jib mounted on the superstructure as to be adjustable in luffing angle and/or in length. The mobile crane additionally contains a dolly coupling arranged on the jib and by which the jib is coupled to a mobile crane dolly during dolly travel with the superstructure in an extended position. The mobile crane further has a sensor interface for connecting a dolly coupling sensor, and a controller that is adapted to ascertain during dolly travel, in dependence on a signal received from the dolly coupling sensor, whether the jib rests on the mobile crane doll, and to activate the slewing gear brake if it does not.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A CRANE, AND CRANE
20220177283 · 2022-06-09 ·

A crane, in particular a mobile crane, includes a crane jib which can be moved about a substantially horizontal luffing axis, and a tensioning device for the crane jib. The tensioning device includes two pendants which run from the jib tip to the jib base of the crane jib and tensioning posts each tensioning a respective one of the pendants relative to the crane jib in a triangular configuration. In order to operate the crane, a luffing angle of the crane jib about the luffing axis is measured or recorded, and a spread angle between the tensioning posts while the crane jib is being used is modified depending on the luffing angle.
