Expandable heavy equipment 1, comprising a first frame element 5, a connector 11, at least one elongated pull element 14, and further frame elements 7. The pull element 14 is connected to the first frame element 5 with a first coupler 31 and to one 9 of the further frame elements 7 with a second coupler 35. The pull element 14 is in a folded state in a transport condition and in an extended state in a working condition. The pull element 14 comprises load bearing fibers/fibres 141 extending from the first coupler 31 to the second coupler 35. The pull element 14 comprises at least one flexible part 43 and at least two stiff parts 45. The flexible part 43 has a lower bending stiffness than the two stiff parts 45 and enables the pull element 14 to be arranged in the folded state.

The invention relates to a crane, in particular to a mobile crane, comprising a lattice boom, a derrick boom, and a boom guying led from the derrick boom to the boom tip, wherein at least one guying frame is provided that is fastened to the boom between the derrick boom and the boom tip and is connected to the boom guying.

Adjustable length tensioning member

An adjustable length tensioning member that comprises a rope, a first connector on the rope, a second connector on the rope, and a plurality of connection points between the first connector and the second connector is disclosed. The plurality of connection points have a diameter greater than a diameter of the rope. The rope may be passed through a socket coupled to a first crane component and one of the connectors on the rope is coupled to a second crane component. One of the plurality of connection points engages a seat on the socket to tension the rope between the socket and the connection point.

Gantry for construction machine

A gantry for a construction machine. The gantry includes a front leg, an upper rear leg, a lower rear leg, and a connection member. The connection member connects an interconnection section for interconnecting the front leg and the upper rear leg to a base. The connection member includes an upper end portion rotatably connected to the interconnection section. The connection member includes a shaft section and the upper rear leg includes a shaft holding portion for holding the shaft section. The shaft holding portion includes a shaft holding surface for holding a lower end portion of the shaft section, a dislodgement prevention portion, and a guide portion inclined downward forward to guide the shaft section to the shaft holding surface. The shaft section climbs over the dislodgement prevention portion through relative displacement to the connection member in a rotation radial direction.

Large crane with boom

This invention relates to a large crane with an at least two-part main boom, wherein a lower and an upper part of the main boom are pivotally coupled to each other an articulation point. The invention furthermore is directed to a method for erecting or depositing a corresponding large crane.

Back stop for crane

A back stop for a crane which eliminates operator's discomfort and adverse effects on surrounding environment due to generation of abnormal noise and enables greasing work to be facilitated. A back stop includes an outer casing having a base end portion turnably connected to a boom or a crane main body and an opening portion opened in the outer casing front end portion; an inner casing having a base end portion turnably connected to the crane main body or the boom and having a front end portion side slidably fitted into the outer case through the opening portion; and a greasing tube arranged in the outer casing or the inner casing. An inlet of the greasing tube is arranged outside of the outer casing or outside of the inner casing on the base end portion side on which the greasing tube is arranged. A discharge port of the greasing tube is attached to a front end portion of the inner casing.

Crane

There is provided a crane that is capable of adjusting the warp of a raising member mounted on a supporting body to be raised and lowered, where the adjustment is made according to a posture of the raising member and load of a cargo. The crane includes a crane body, a boom, a raising device, a main rope, a main winch, a mid-support rope, a mid-support winch, and a manipulation unit. The mid-support rope connects a middle portion of the boom to the guylink and includes a securing end P secured to the guylink. The mid-support winch winds up and winds out the mid-support rope to change the distance between the guylink and the boom.
