The invention relates to a crane, in particular to a mobile crane, comprising a lattice boom, a derrick boom, and a boom guying led from the derrick boom to the boom tip, wherein at least one guying frame is provided that is fastened to the boom between the derrick boom and the boom tip and is connected to the boom guying.

CRANE

There is provided a crane that is capable of adjusting the warp of a raising member mounted on a supporting body to be raised and lowered, where the adjustment is made according to a posture of the raising member and load of a cargo. The crane includes a crane body, a boom, a raising device, a main rope, a main winch, a mid-support rope, a mid-support winch, and a manipulation unit. The mid-support rope connects a middle portion of the boom to the guylink and includes a securing end P secured to the guylink. The mid-support winch winds up and winds out the mid-support rope to change the distance between the guylink and the boom.

ADJUSTABLE LENGTH TENSIONING MEMBER

An adjustable length tensioning member that comprises a rope, a first connector on the rope, a second connector on the rope, and a plurality of connection points between the first connector and the second connector is disclosed. The plurality of connection points have a diameter greater than a diameter of the rope. The rope may be passed through a socket coupled to a first crane component and one of the connectors on the rope is coupled to a second crane component. One of the plurality of connection points engages a seat on the socket to tension the rope between the socket and the connection point.

Heave compensated dual hoist crane

A dual hoist crane is provided with a heave compensation system that can be used for both the main and for the auxiliary hoisting assembly. The heave compensation system includes a first set of sheaves for guiding the main hoisting cable and a second set of sheaves for guiding the auxiliary hoisting cable. The heave compensation system is configured to individually lock the first set of sheaves and the second set of sheaves to a heave compensation cylinder, for respectively providing the main hoisting assembly and the auxiliary hoisting assembly with heave compensation.

Long arm

Provided is a long arm supported in a cantilever manner with light weight and high rigidity. The rod 30 is formed from rods 31-33 so as to be a multi-stage telescopic configuration. The rods 32, 33 respectively have upright columns 42, 43 on the tips. The wire 11 is suspended between the tip of the rod 31 and the lead end of the arm via the top of the column 42. The wire 12 is suspended between the base of the column 42 and the lead end of the arm via the top of the column 42. The wire 22 is suspended between the top of the column 42 and the lead end of the arm via the top of the column 43. The tension generation means 50 pulls the wires 10, 20. The air pressure generation means 60 applies pressure to the inside of the rod 30.

CRANE AND CRANE ASSEMBLY METHOD

Provided are a crane enabling workability to be improved about connecting a guyline for interconnecting a strut and a boom to the boom, and a crane assembly method. A rope tip part of a winch rope is connected to an intermediate member in a state where a boom and a jib have been fallen on the ground. A winch performs a winding motion of winding the winch rope, thereby raising a strut and making the intermediate member approach a guyline connection part of the boom to allow a boom connection end part of a second guyline that is connected to the intermediate member to be connected to the guyline connection part.

The invention relates to a mobile crane having a telescopic boom that is luffably coupled to a superstructure and that comprises a coupling section and at least one telescopic section supported therein in a retractable and extendable manner. At least one guying support is fastened to the coupling section and is connected to the coupling section or to the superstructure via a first guying and to a connection piece at a telescopic section via a second guying. In accordance with the invention, the second guying comprises at least two guying elements coupled with one another. The second guying is thereby adjustable in length and is thus adaptable to the extension length of the telescopic boom such that at least one of the mutually coupled guying elements is directly releasably connectable to the guying support. The invention further relates to a guying system for a mobile crane in accordance with the invention, to a method of moving a mobile crane in accordance with the invention into a guyed work position, and to a method of varying the extension length of the guyed telescopic boom of a mobile crane in accordance with the invention.
