An assembly for accomplishing any of drone takeoff/landing, recharging, or package transfer/delivery. The assembly includes a base supporting at least one extendable member. A receiving platform is secured atop the member and a controller interfaces the assembly with the drone for issuing a set of commands for guiding the drone relative to the platform. The command instructions include at least an instruction to elevate/lower the platform at any point for the exchange or landing. Additional command instructions provide for managing each of pre-exchange, during-exchange or post-exchange interactions. The assembly also provides secure retention and post-exchange access by a recipient in the instance of a drone delivered and securely retained package.

The supporting leg is, despite to the presence of the hydraulic circuit, pivotable at any angle around each axis on the beam. As such, the presence of any loose hydraulic conduits or other components of the hydraulic circuit that could protrude into the supporting leg and/or the beam is eliminated. To this aim, the supporting leg includes a ring-shaped hydraulic interface with flat front surfaces and an uninterrupted external circumferential surface and located adjacent to a bearing casing of the supporting leg and pivotally located on a hinge of each telescopic arm of the beam.

The command instructions include at least an instruction to elevate the platform at any point prior to package exchange and a subsequent instruction to retract the platform at any point following package exchange. Additional command instructions provide for managing each of pre-exchange and post-exchange of the package, such as for providing secure retention and post-exchange access by the recipient in the instance of a drone delivered and securely retained package.

A gas-operated lifting table provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure, includes a pedestal, a column assembly, and a panel assembly, the column is detachably coupled to the pedestal and the panel assembly, the panel assembly includes an operating member, the column assembly includes a fastening column fastened to the pedestal and a sliding column movable relative to the fastening column, the gas-operated lifting table further includes a controllable gas spring arranged within the column assembly and detachably coupled to the column assembly, when the operating member is pressed against the controllable gas spring, the sliding column is movable relative to the fastening column in a direction away from or toward the pedestal. The gas-operated lifting table provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure has a simple structure and is flexible to operate.
