A fork assembly can include multiple forks configured to surround a load. Multiple attachments can be made on the forks to couple to straps for support a load. The fork assembly can further include multiple fork extensions having end attachments to couple to straps for pulling on the load. Alternatively, the fork assembly can include multiple fork lifters having blades rotatable between a non-lift position and a lift position. The fork extensions can also have blades rotatable between a non-pullable position and a pullable position. The blade rotation can be performed by a remote rotate mechanism by an operator operating the fork assembly. In some embodiments, the fork attachment assembly for a forklift or a forklift vehicle can include roller legs coupled at far ends of the fork beams or the fork extensions. The fork assembly can include roller legs coupled at far ends of the fork beams or the fork extensions. The fork assembly can include a clamping device coupled at a far end of the fork beam or the fork extension.

Storage Units and Robotic Storage/Retrieval Vehicles for a Three-Dimensional Storage System
20200216298 · 2020-07-09 ·

In combination, a storage unit storable within a three-dimensional storage system and a storage/retrieval vehicle navigable through the three-dimensional storage system to storage locations therein at which the storage unit is selectively storable and retrievable. The storage/retrieval vehicle comprises a frame conveyable through the three-dimensional storage system, a platform atop the frame for receipt of the storage unit on the platform, and a loading/unloading mechanism operable to load and unload the storage unit to and from the platform at four different sides thereof. The storage unit and the storage/retrieval vehicle are configured to enable unloading of the storage unit from the platform in any one of four different directions at four different respective sides of the vehicle regardless of an original orientation in which the storage unit was previously loaded onto the platform and without reorienting the storage unit from the original orientation.

Sheet Material Transport And Lifting Device
20200156912 · 2020-05-21 ·

A device for lifting and transporting sheet material has a base portion, wheels on which the base portion is supported, a mast that extends upwardly from the base portion, a supporting head that is configured to support sheet material, a carriage to which the supporting head is mounted, and a lifting mechanism to support the carriage in the longitudinal direction of the mast. The lifting mechanism includes a winch, and a cable that is connected to the winch, passes over a first pulley located at or near the upper end of the mast and under a second pulley that is mounted on the carriage. An end of the cable is secured or securable at or adjacent an upper end of the mast. The winch and the first and second pulleys are all positioned on one side of the mast. The carriage is displaceable along the mast by operation of the winch.

Skate system and movable platform

The present invention provides a movable platform (MP) having a simple construction that is capable of being conveyed by a hydraulically actuated skate system (HASS). The MP is able to accommodate freight placed upon its surface and can be used to fully load a trailer in a single cross-dock move. The HASS can be used to move the MP during cross-dock operations. The HASS comprises a plurality of tines which are received in corresponding support channels in the MP. The tines are used to lift the MP off the ground and rollers on the tines can be used to move the MP. A conveyance vehicle is used to move the HASS and the MP after the tines have been actuated.

CARRYING DEVICE, WAREHOUSING LOGISTICS SYSTEM, AND PALLET CARRYING METHOD

Provided are a carrying device, a warehousing logistics system, and a pallet carrying method. The carrying device is configured to carry the pallet, and includes: a vehicle body configured to autonomously move; a mounting bracket horizontally and slidably disposed on the vehicle body; and a fork arm, where a first end of the fork arm is connected to the mounting bracket, the fork arm is configured to protrude horizontally along with movement of the mounting bracket to be inserted into a fork hole of the pallet, and raise and lower relative to the vehicle body to lift the pallet, and the vehicle body and the mounting bracket are configured to, when the fork arm lifts the pallet, enable the pallet to be located above the vehicle body by relative movement between the vehicle body and the mounting bracket.

FORK CARRIAGE FOR A TRUCK MOUNTED FORKLIFT
20200055713 · 2020-02-20 ·

This invention relates to a fork carriage for a truck mounted forklift, the fork carriage comprising an upright rear section for mounting onto the lifting assembly of the forklift, an upright forward section, shorter than the upright rear section, for reception of tines, and a pantograph linkage connecting the upright rear section and upright forward sections together. The pantograph linkage comprises a first and second linkage arm however the second linkage arm is shorter than the first linkage arm and does not extend all the way forward to the upright forward section. Instead, there is provided a third linkage arm with a hinge joint along its length, the third linkage arm being connected at various positions along its length to each of the first linkage arm, the second linkage arm and the upright forward section. In this way, the pantograph linkage can achieve the same reach with a lower upright forward section and access to top far side loads is facilitated.
