A handling device for handling containers in a capping and/or inspection station of a capping installation is provided. The device includes a centering member, having a side opening arranged to receive a neck region of a container, and a clamp gripping assembly for holding the container during the capping operations. The clamp gripping assembly is mounted so as to be vertically slidable between a first position, in which it is disengaged from the container and enables removing a capped container and receiving a container to be capped, and a second position, which is taken by the gripping assembly during capping and/or inspection and in which it engages the container. The clamp gripping assembly applies an axial load to the container when in the second position.

Disclosed is a container treatment apparatus and treatment method, in particular a container sterilisation apparatus, having a plurality of transport devices for transporting a container along a predetermined transport path, at least one of the transport devices having at least one holding device for holding at least one container during container treatment and/or transport along the transport path, the transport device having a rotatable carrier and a plurality of holding elements arranged on this carrier, wherein a holding element in a first sector, in which a container is received, having a height with respect to a perpendicular projection of the transport path which is different from that in a second sector in which a container is dispensed, and wherein a sector in which an at least partial compensation of the height difference of the holding elements takes place lies along a direction of rotation of the carrier after the second sector and before the first sector.

A machine for filling containers, each container having a longitudinal axis, the machine comprising: a conveying device; at least one handling unit including a support device configured to receive and retain a container and at least one filling device selectively activated for feeding a pourable product into the container while the at least one handling unit travels along the transfer path; a pressurizing circuit; a decompression circuit; at least one actuating device; and a control unit configured to: control activation and deactivation of the at least one filling device and the at least one actuating device; control connection of the pressurization circuit and the decompression circuit with the container; and simultaneously maintain the at least one actuating device in an active state while the decompression circuit is in communication with the container so as to rotate the container about the longitudinal axis during decompression.

A container treatment apparatus includes a transport apparatus for transporting containers along a predetermined transport path, wherein the transport apparatus has at least one transport device (100) for transporting the containers (100) and at least one container treatment device (150) for treating the container in a predetermined manner, wherein the transport devices include a rotatable carrier on which a plurality of holding elements (40) for holding at least one container is arranged. The container treatment device is arranged to treat the containers transported by the transport device and the holding element is rotatable such that the container held by the holding element is rotatable with respect to its longitudinal direction and the container treatment apparatus includes a monitoring device for monitoring the rotational movement of the containers.

Disclosed is a container treatment apparatus for transporting plastic containers and in particular plastic preforms along a predetermined transport path, wherein the container treatment apparatus has at least one transport device having a plurality of holding elements, wherein the transport device is a pitch distribution starwheel having a movement device configured to allow movement of the holding elements in at least two planes.

The aseptic apparatus may include a filling unit, which includes a first chamber, and at least one transfer star-wheel downstream the filling unit. The aseptic apparatus may also include a closures placing station arranged on a first zone of the transfer star-wheel that is located beside the filling unit. The closures placing station may be configured to place a concave closure onto a mouth of each receptacle. The aseptic apparatus may also include a closing unit arranged downstream from the transfer star-wheel. The closing unit may include a second chamber housing a closing machine that is configured to apply each concave closure around a neck of the corresponding receptacle. The first chamber may be at a first pressure and the second chamber may be at a second pressure that is lower than the first pressure.

A device and method for centering a container during travel into a processing region, wherein the device has: a receiving section configured to receive the container; a guiding section configured to guide a translational movement along a defined trajectory between a receiving position and a processing position; a chamber wall having an opening, wherein the receiving section and the guiding section are configured to insert at least some section of the container into the processing region; a sealing device having an inflatable seal, which is arranged in the opening and configured to adopt a sealing position around a container section in the processing position; and a control device, which is in communication with the sealing device and is configured to at least partially inflate the inflatable seal during the translational movement of the container from the receiving position into the processing position.
