Holding device for holding a container
A holding device for holding a container, for example for holding a container in a transport device of a beverage filling plant is described. The holding device includes a fastening part and two gripping arms, which are pivotably connected to the fastening part and can be brought into a closed position in order to hold the container and can be brought into an open position in order to insert and remove the container. A preloaded elastic bow is disposed between the gripping arms, and the elastic bow can be brought into a first position, in which the gripping arms are in the open position, and into a second position, in which the gripping arms are in the closed position. The preload of the elastic bow in the first position holds the gripping arms in the open position and the preload of the elastic bow in the second position holds the gripping arms in the closed position.
Receptacle handling apparatus for filing and capping receptacles
The present disclose relates to a receptacle handling apparatus. In one implementation, the apparatus includes a filling carousel with filling units adapted for filling respective receptacles during advancement of the receptacles from a receiving station to a transfer station and a capping carousel with capping units adapted for receiving respective filled receptacles at an insertion station and adapted to cap said receptacles during advancement from the insertion station to a release station. The transfer station and the insertion station are spaced apart, and the capping carousel includes gripping units, each having at least one outwardly extensible gripping arm assembly moveable between a retracted and an extracted configuration, such that the gripping arm assembly cooperates with the filling carousel to transfer a relative filled receptacle from the transfer station to the insertion station.
CONTENT-FILLING SYSTEM AND STERILIZING METHOD
A content-filling system (10) includes a water sterilization line (50) that sterilizes water without heating, an undiluted-solution sterilization line (70) that heats and sterilizes a product undiluted solution, and a filling device (20) that is connected to the water sterilization line (50) and the undiluted-solution sterilization line (70) and that fills the water and the product undiluted solution in bottles (100).
Container handling system
Plastic container that is to be filled with a hot product includes a threaded neck portion, a base portion including a standing surface and a moveable element, and a body portion including a dome portion, first and second label stop portions, a supplemental vacuum panel and a sidewall relatively free of structural geometry that surrounds an interior of the body portion. During cooling, the hot product is contracted so as to create an induced vacuum. The supplemental vacuum panel is configured and operative to remove a first portion of an induced vacuum, and the moveable element is configured and operative to move from a first position to a second position to remove a second portion of the vacuum, wherein the first portion of the vacuum and the second portion of the vacuum constitute substantially the entire vacuum.
Transport device for transporting containers
A transport device for transporting containers with a plurality of pucks, each designed for receiving a container and for standing transport of the container, the transport device having an intermediate starwheel and a container lifting device to adjust the vertical position of the containers, and the transport device permitting the containers to be transported by the pucks to an inlet of a treatment machine and away from an outlet of the treatment machine. The container lifting device of the transport device is integrally formed with or attached to the intermediate starwheel and is formed and arranged in operation such that it lifts the containers, for removing the containers from the pucks, before they pass through a treatment section of the treatment machine and lowers the containers, for inserting the containers into the pucks, after they have passed through the treatment section.
ASEPTIC FILLING MACHINE AND ASEPTIC FILLING METHOD
An aseptic filling machine and an aseptic filling method are provided with which a petaloid-shape bottle or an unstable bottle which is filled with sterilized content and sealed with a sterilized cap in an aseptic atmosphere is discharged without a delay from an aseptic zone to a non-aseptic zone. Further, even if a petaloid-shape bottle or an unstable bottle falls over on a discharging conveyor when being discharged from an aseptic zone to a non-aseptic zone, a stopping time of the aseptic filling machine can be shortened. A barrier chamber into which air containing a gas of a sterilizer is supplied is provided downstream of a sealing portion that fills content into the bottle and seals the bottle with a cap. Further, a discharge portion chamber that shields a discharge portions provided downstream of the sealing portion that fills content into the bottle and seals the bottle with a cap.
DEVICE FOR TRANSPORTING A CONTAINER
A device for transporting a filled container in a rotary device, for example from a rotary filler to a capper, includes a rotary element rotating about an axis of rotation with a holding element for accommodating the container. The holding element is designed such that the filled container is held so that a container axis, which passes through and is perpendicular to a mouth aperture cross-sectional plane of the container, is oriented below the holding element toward the axis of rotation.
Device for transporting containers
A device for transporting containers in a beverage filling plant is provided. The device has at least one first clamp, which can be pivoted between an open switching position and a closed switching position and is disposed in a pivoting plane, for holding a container of a first container size, and one second clamp, which can be pivoted between an open switching position and a closed switching position and is disposed in the pivoting plane, for holding a container of a second container size. A first control cam is provided for controlling the switching position of the first clamp and a second control cam is provided for controlling the switching position of the second clamp. The first control cam is disposed in a first control plane parallel to the pivoting plane, and the second control cam is disposed in a second control plane parallel to the pivoting plane. The first control plane and the second control plane are spaced apart from each other.
Plant for the filling and capping of containers, in particular bottles
A plant for filling and capping a container is disclosed. The plant comprises a transfer unit configured to feed the container along a feeding path. The transfer unit is connected to a filling drum via an outlet station, and connected to a capping drum via an inlet station. The transfer unit also has an outlet segment at the outlet station, which is straight and tangent to the filling drum, and an inlet segment at the inlet station, which is straight and tangent to the capping drum.
