The invention refers to a system for achieving the sensation of drinking a particular drink, known as the target, when in fact another drink, such as water, is being drunk. The invention consists of a glass which contains not only water but also a small amount of the target drink, in order to provide the true smell and image of the desired drink, as well as an electronic system for generating a series of signals which, by means of electrodes, stimulate the user's tongue, the effect of which is to act on a series of nerve cells, providing the brain with a signal as similar as possible to that which the real drink provides to the taste buds of the user. The user of the system thus has the sensation of drinking the target drink.

A dispenser system for providing variable carbonation can include a carbonated water source in communication with a carbonated water valve for controlling flow of carbonated water through the dispenser system; a still water source in communication with a still water valve for controlling flow of still water through the dispenser system; a nozzle in fluid communication with the carbonated water source and still water source; a processing device adapted to modulate the carbonated water and still water valves within a modulate cycle to achieve a ratio of carbonated to non-carbonated water; and a pour mechanism adapted to provide an input to the processing device to dispense the beverage.

Selectable gas infused beverage dispensing system

Disclosed herein are beverage dispensing apparatuses for selectable gas-infused beverage dispensing. The apparatus may have a faucet assembly, a beverage storage unit, a gas storage unit, a liquid/gas infusion unit, and an infusion valve. The faucet assembly may have a housing, a nozzle, a supply valve, and a dispensing valve, configured to control a flow of beverage through the faucet assembly. The beverage dispensing apparatus may use the infusion valve to selectively infuse a selected level of gas within a dispensed beverage.

CARBONATOR AND COLD-PLATE SYSTEM

A beverage dispenser includes a cold plate with a plurality of fluid lines running through it. A cover includes a carbonator housing and a hopper cradle, with a cover aperture extending through the hopper cradle. The cover and cold plate together define a cooling chamber. An ice hopper, which has a hopper aperture, is connected to the cover at the hopper cradle, aligning the hopper aperture with the cover aperture so that cubed ice in the ice hopper can fall through the hopper aperture onto the cold plate. A carbonator is received through the cover into the carbonator housing.

Drop-in beverage dispenser

A beverage dispenser includes a plurality of dispensing heads. A cold plates includes a plurality of fluid lines running therethrough. An ice bin is in thermal contact with the cold plate. A carbonator extends vertically from the cold plate with a lower end of the carbonator in thermal contact with the cold plate. A plurality of fluid lines extend from the cold plate to the plurality of dispensing heads.
