A carbonated beverage dispenser includes a tank to store carbonated water, a carbon dioxide source, and a release valve configured to release gas from the tank. The release valve may be actuated to mix the contents of the tank to increase the temperature homogeny and carbon dioxide homogeny in the tank. The tank may include sensors to monitor the temperature of the water and the amount of carbon dioxide dissolved therein.

An apparatus for autonomously cooking a food product and dispensing said food product into a container, the apparatus comprising: a housing; a plurality of cooling chambers, a plurality of cooking chambers, a plurality of storage chambers, a plurality of primary dispensing chambers, and a plurality of secondary dispensing chambers disposed in a column arrangement within the apparatus; at least one food container disposed within at least one of the plurality of cooling chambers; a plurality of mixer augers disposed within the at least one food container; a series of induction plates adapted to be heated by a series of induction energizers, the series of induction plates and induction energizers being associated with each cooking chamber; and roller conveyor tables disposed throughout the pluralities of primary and secondary dispensing chambers, the roller conveyor tables being adapted to traverse the container such that to receive the cooked food product.

A method of selecting and dispensing a custom beverage in a contactless manner using a mobile electronic device. The method includes launching a microsite on the mobile electronic device. The method further includes receiving a beverage selection via the microsite on the mobile electronic device, and receiving a selection of a volume of the custom beverage to be dispensed via the microsite. The method further includes generating a QR code via the microsite, wherein the QR code corresponds to the beverage selection and the volume selection and displaying the QR code on a display of the mobile electronic device such that when the QR code is read by a reader of a beverage dispenser, the selected beverage is dispensed in the selected volume based on the QR code.

A method and system for preparing and providing a carbonized liquid. A liquid to be carbonized is provided in a tank. A gas is introduced into the tank to form the carbonized liquid. The gas may be introduced to the tank by way on an injecting nozzle located at an outlet end of a gas inlet duct inside the tank and/or located spaced apart from the liquid stored in the tank. The carbonized liquid is discharged from the tank via an outlet duct using a pressure difference between the pressure prevailing in the tank and a pressure prevailing in the outlet duct and/or at an outlet end of the outlet duct. When in normal operation mode, the gas having entered the tank is leaving the tank substantially only via the outlet duct.

A system for carbonating fluid is provided comprising a gas supply and a fluid vessel for carbonating fluid, the fluid vessel having at least one internal surface for obstructing a return path of the gas to an upper surface of the fluid after injection. A retainer retains the fluid vessel relative to the gas supply and a gas injector injects gas from the gas supply into the fluid vessel. During use, the gas injector injects gas below a fluid level within the fluid vessel.

A carbonation device for beverages includes a carbonation tank to receive a beverage to be carbonated and carbon dioxide so as to generate a carbonated beverage, carbonated with the carbon dioxide, and a dispensing device in fluid communication with the carbonation tank to dispense, through a duct, the carbonated beverage to a container for carbonated beverages, the carbonated beverage flowing along the duct in a flow direction.

The carbonation device further includes a carbonation sensor associated with the duct and having a radiation source to generate a radiation which strikes the duct along an irradiation direction incident to the flow direction.

The carbonation sensor also includes a first photodiode placed on the irradiation direction from a side opposite to the radiation source with respect to the duct, or as an alternative, a second photodiode placed along a diffusion direction substantially orthogonal to the irradiation direction.

The present invention relates to a beverage making machine comprising a first beverage making cartridge comprising at least one of a gas source portion, the gas source portion contains a solid gas source that through sublimation emits a gas, and a gas storage tank arranged to store the gas emitted from the solid gas source. The beverage making machine further comprising a second beverage making cartridge comprising at least one of a micro ingredient, a beverage diluent receptacle for receiving a beverage diluent liquid, a dissolver dissolves portion of the gas, from the gas storage tank, into the beverage diluent liquid, and a dispenser selectively dispenses a predefined ratio of at least one of the micro ingredient and the beverage diluent liquid, to form a beverage. Exemplary embodiments include a computer control arranged to receive a beverage selection from a consumer and control the beverage making machine to form beverages.

A carbonated beverage dispensing system, which may be embodied as a unitary apparatus including electrically powered on-bench, under-bench or freestanding water cooling units. The system has a dispensing unit including a first source of liquid having a relatively high level of carbonation, a second source of liquid having a relative low or zero level of carbonation, a mixer in liquid connection with the first and second sources of liquid configured to mix liquid from the first and second sources, and a controllable pump to convey liquid from the first or second source of water at a variable flow rate to the mixer. The flow rate of the variable pump is controllable to provide a beverage having a variable mixture of liquids from the first and second sources of liquid to provide a beverage having a level of carbonation intermediate to that of the first and second sources of liquid.
