System and components for receiving, storing, and dispensing fluids
A container has a top and a bottom endcap, a bottle sandwiched therebetween, and one or more bands coupling the top and bottom endcaps and the bottle. The bottle receives therein a flexible bladder. At least one of the top and bottom endcaps has a pair of opposing parallel surfaces, one of which has a protrusion extending therefrom and the other one of which has a recess therein at a location corresponding to that of the protrusion. A valving structure demountably engages with a neck portion of the bottle and has (i) a coupling valve assembly having two channels in fluid communication with the bottle and the bladder for injecting gas thereinto and dispensing liquid therefrom, respectively, and (ii) a twist-lock casing receiving therein the coupling valve assembly and removably coupled to the bottle's neck portion. The twist-lock casing has a structure for safely depressurizing the bottle.
DISTRIBUTOR
The disclosure herein discloses a distributor, which includes a keg head, a valve element, an elastic member, and a valve element switch configured to control the valve element to act. The keg head is provided with a liquid inle, a liquid outlet, and a valve element mounting hole. The valve element includes a control portion controlling the communication or disconnection between the liquid inlet and the liquid outlet and a switch connecting portion configured to be connected to the valve element switch. The valve element is provided with a first matching body. The valve element switch is provided with a second matching body. The elastic member acts on the valve element such that the first matching body tends to move to abut against the second matching body. According to the disclosure herein, the valve element is in floating connection to the valve element switch.
EFFICIENT DISTRIBUTOR
The disclosure herein discloses an efficient distributor, which includes a distributor shell, an operating member, a locking member, and a control member connected to the operating member. The operating member includes a locking matching member with a locking boss protruding therefrom. The locking boss includes a first locking matching surface and a second locking matching surface. The locking member includes a locking block capable of moving to or away from the locking matching member, and a first reset member. According to the disclosure herein, the locking boss and the locking block are automatically unlocked when a state of the operating member is switched and automatically locked after the state is switched, so the efficient distributor is convenient.
Bag-in-keg container with fixed pressure PRV
A bag-in-keg container for a carbonated beverage has a container body C, a flexible bag B within the container body, and a valve closure V attached to the container body. The valve closure includes a gas inlet port (11), a liquid dispensing port (12), and spring-loaded valve member (6) to sealably close the gas inlet and liquid dispensing ports. An adapter (20) sealingly attached to the flexible bag B incorporates a bag PRV (26) to vent gas pressure from within the flexible bag. A container PRV (40) vents gas pressure from between the container body C and the flexible bag B. The bag PRV has a valve shuttle with one side exposed to gas pressure within the flexible bag B and an opposite side exposed to gas pressure within a sealed plenum chamber (37). The bag PRV therefore operates at a fixed pressure independent of the differential pressure between the bag and the outer container. This solves the problem of venting excess pressure within the keg whilst still allowing the dispensing gas to achieve the equilibrium.
VALVE CLOSURE WITH CONCENTRIC SPRING-LOADED MOVING VALVE MEMBERS, THE INTERNAL VALVE MEMBER HAVING AXIAL PROTRUSIONS
A valve closure for dispensing liquid by means of a pressurised gas has an inner sleeve (12) which includes a socket (16) and an annular inner valve seat (18). The inner sleeve carries a ring seal (14) which is urged against an outer valve seat (9) by an outer spring (15). A valve member (21) has an annular sealing face (23) co-operable with the inner valve seat (18) and a spring (24) urges the valve member (21) against the inner valve seat (18). The valve member (21) incorporates a plurality of projections (26) spaced radially from the annular sealing face (23). The valve closure can be used with a dispensing coupler having a tubular probe inwards with a circumferential ring seal and a locking recess to engage the locking fingers of a detachable closing element.
KEG CLOSURE HOUSING WITH INTEGRALLY FORMED FEATURES
A closure for a beverage keg is provided, comprising an outer housing wall defining at least a portion of a valve housing and an inner duct that is located within the outer housing wall. The inner duct extends through at least a portion of the valve housing to define a flow path through the closure. The outer housing wall and the inner duct are integrally formed together as part of a single housing component.
Keg closure with attached venting system
A closure (1) for a beverage keg (90), comprising an inlet for admitting a pressurised gas into a headspace of the beverage keg (90) and a venting aperture (27) separate from the inlet. The venting aperture (27) is configured to provide fluid communication between the headspace of the keg (90) and an exterior of the closure (1). The closure (1) is provided with a barrier (29) that is welded to the closure (1) and configured to seal the venting aperture such that the closure (1) is able to retain the pressurised gas within the keg (90) in an unvented configuration. The barrier (29) is configured to rupture and/or to become at least partially detached from the closure (1) by internal pressure from within the keg (90) in order to switch the closure (1) into a vented configuration in which the venting aperture (27) is no longer sealed by the barrier (29).
SPRING DEVICE AND VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A spring device comprises at least one distribution ring and at least two elastic elements configured like a zig-zag spring connected to the at least one distribution ring. The zig-zag spring elements are disposed equidistant around a longitudinal axis of the spring device and extend along respective axes parallel to its longitudinal axis.
