CAPACITIVE SENSING FOR BEVERAGE DISPENSER
An automated beverage dispensing attachment includes a capacitive sensor located adjacent to a fluid passage, for example, inside of a cork that attaches to an inside of a bottle. The capacitive sensor of the automated beverage dispensing attachment provides an output signal that tracks changes in capacitance due to events such as bottle attachment, liquid presence and user grip. The signal is suitable for complex processing and filtering to precisely identify and characterize a variety of events and actions.
KEG CLOSURE WITH INTEGRATED VENTING SYSTEM
A closure (1) for a beverage keg (90) is provided, the closure (1) comprising an inlet for admitting a pressurised gas into a headspace of the beverage keg (90) and a valve housing (20) defining at least a portion of the closure (1). The valve housing (20) has a housing wall (21) that defines at least a portion of the valve housing (20). The closure (1) is provided with a barrier (29), separate from the inlet, that is integrally formed with the housing wall (21) and configured to seal the closure (1) such that the closure (1) is able to retain the pressurised gas within the keg (90) in an unvented configuration. The barrier thickness is configured such that the barrier (29) ruptures by internal pressure from within the keg (90) in order to switch the closure (1) into a vented configuration in which fluid communication between the headspace of the keg (90) and an exterior of the closure (1) is possible, through the ruptured barrier (29).
Delivering tap for carbonated beverages equipped with forgery-preventing system and warranty seal with integrated degassing key, and vessel for carbonated beverages equipped with such tap
A delivering tap made of plastic for a vessel for liquids, the delivering tap having a main body, at least one cover coupled to the main body, the cover having a first turret for gas entering the vessel and a second turret for liquid exiting the vessel, each turret having a turret bottom operatively threadedly coupled to its respective turret body, a first piston located inside the first turret, a second piston located inside the second turret, each piston configured to control an opening of one of the turrets simultaneously with a closing of the other turret, an insulating sealing O-ring for each turret bottom for separating passage of gas from passage of liquid, a spring disposed in each turret bottom to push the corresponding piston to a closed position, at least one tamper seal to indicate external access to the turrets, and at least one degassing key.
DRINK HOLDER
Holder for beverages, whereby the holder includes a rigid outer holder that is provided with a mouth for inserting a flexible inner holder, whereby the holder also includes an adapter, that is designed to be provided on the mouth and which is designed to be coupled to a coupling element of such an inner holder, so that in this way an inner holder, with a coupling element that is too small to be provided on the mouth directly, can nonetheless be provided on the mouth. The outer holder and the adapter are fitted with a complementary first unit to lock their mutual position when they are coupled, whereby the locking is repeatedly reversible.
System and components for receiving, storing, and dispensing fluids
A container has a top and a bottom endcap, a bottle sandwiched therebetween, and one or more bands coupling the top and bottom endcaps and the bottle. The bottle receives therein a flexible bladder. At least one of the top and bottom endcaps has a pair of opposing parallel surfaces, one of which has a protrusion extending therefrom and the other one of which has a recess therein at a location corresponding to that of the protrusion. A valving structure demountably engages with a neck portion of the bottle and has (i) a coupling valve assembly having two channels in fluid communication with the bottle and the bladder for injecting gas thereinto and dispensing liquid therefrom, respectively, and (ii) a twist-lock casing receiving therein the coupling valve assembly and removably coupled to the bottle's neck portion. The twist-lock casing has a structure for safely depressurizing the bottle.
DELIVERING TAP FOR CARBONATED BEVERAGES EQUIPPED WITH FORGERY-PREVENTING SYSTEM AND WARRANTY SEAL WITH INTEGRATED DEGASSING KEY, AND VESSEL FOR CARBONATED BEVERAGES EQUIPPED WITH SUCH TAP
A vessel for liquids is described, made of plastic material, comprising: a delivering tap composed of a main body; a covering device equipped with two turrets for entering gas and exiting liquid into/from the body; two pistons operatively coupled to the turrets for controlling their opening and closing; two bottoms operatively coupled with the pistons for controlling their operation; and a tampering-preventing seal placed on the covering device in order to prevent an undesired external access to the turrets with an integrated degassing device for degassing the vessel at the end of its life favouring its correct recycling; and a neck of the vessel connected to the delivering tap and equipped with internal and external forgery-preventing means to cooperate with the tampering-preventing seal.
