Automatic System for the Conservation of Gas and other Substances
20210093813 · 2021-04-01 ·

A system for conserving oxygen and other gasses supplied to a recipient. A supply conduit supplies gas from a source to a reservoir, which retains a volume of gas at ambient pressure. A conduit supplies gas from the reservoir to the recipient, and an inflation detection system detects when the reservoir is below a state of inflation and when the reservoir is inflated to the state of inflation. A valve system prevents gas from flowing from the source and into the reservoir when the reservoir is at the predetermined state of inflation, and the valve system permits gas to flow from the source and into the reservoir when the reservoir is below the predetermined state of inflation whereby gas within the reservoir can be continually replenished without pressurization above ambient pressure. The inflation detection system can be an electro-mechanical system. Alternatively, the inflation detection system can be a contactless system.

AUTOMATIC ISOBARIC DISPENSING MACHINE FOR CRAFT BEER AND BEER DISPENSING METHOD BY USING THE SAME
20210039940 · 2021-02-11 ·

Disclosed is an automatic isobaric dispensing machine for craft beer and a beer dispensing method by using the same. The automatic isobaric dispensing machine for craft beer comprises a housing; a beer dispensing head installed on the housing and hermetically placed at a container mouth of a container; a carbon dioxide supplying device connecting with a gas inlet of the beer dispensing head through a pre-pressure gas valve, a beer barrel connected with a beer inlet of the beer dispensing head through a beer outlet valve, a flowmeter for measuring a beer flow of the beer barrel, and a processor connected with the pre-pressure gas valve, the beer outlet valve, the flowmeter, the gas exhaust valve and the barometer. The isobaric dispensing machine has a simple machine structure and is convenient to use, and is capable of reducing the time cost and the beer waste thus providing better beer quality.

Needle with particle control for beverage dispensing
10934081 · 2021-03-02 · ·

A needle for accessing a container having a closure, such as a cork of a wine bottle. The needle includes one or more lumens which may have a screen to resist passage of materials over a threshold size from a distal end of the lumen to a proximal end. The screen may help allow a cork to reseal after the needle is withdrawn from the cork, help resist blockage of an opening to the lumen (whether with cork or other material) and/or help prevent foreign matter from interfering with operation of one or more portions of the dispenser (such as cork particles preventing valve from opening or closing).

Beverage extractor with controller

A system and method for dispensing beverage from a container, such as wine from a wine bottle. Dispensing may be automatically controlled based on a detected orientation of the container, e.g., dispensing may occur when a bottle is tilted as if to pour from the bottle and stopped when the bottle is oriented upright. Dispensing may be stopped when the container is rotated about its longitudinal axis even while in a pour orientation. A remaining amount of beverage in the container and/or an amount of pressurized gas used to drive dispensing may be detected and beverage dispensing controlled accordingly.

DISPENSER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE

System for dispensing a beverage into a container (18) comprising at least one dispenser unit (10). The dispenser unit (10) comprises at least one beverage outlet port and a movable seal member (34) which is configured to form a sealing barrier between at least a portion of the container (18) and the dispenser head. In this way the container is pressurised before filling, so as to avoid excessive foaming.

Method and apparatus for beverage dispensing including container stopper

A system and method for dispensing sparkling and other non-pressurized beverages from a container. Sparkling wine and other beverages may be dispensed using a dispensing system that includes a stopper body that can be engaged with the container at the container opening. The stopper body may be arranged to introduce gas into the container during pouring-type dispensing, as well as re-pressurize and seal the container for storage, e.g., to keep a carbonation level of beverage remaining in the container.

Beverage extractor for sparkling beverages
10875757 · 2020-12-29 · ·

A system and method for dispensing sparkling and other pressurized beverages from a container. Sparkling wine and other beverages may be dispensed without removing a cork or other closure. One or more needles may be inserted through the closure and sparkling beverage dispensed through the one or more needles. The one or more needles may be inserted at an angle to the vertical or axis of the bottle opening in which the closure is positioned, e.g., to avoid contact with a metal retainer on the closure. Dispensed beverage may be directed to a pressurized reservoir to help maintain or recover carbonation prior to dispensing.

Needle for accessing a beverage in container
10850965 · 2020-12-01 · ·

A needle for accessing a container having a closure, such as a cork of a wine bottle. The needle includes first and second lumens each having a D-shaped cross section and a flat surface. The first and second lumens are attached with the flat surfaces in contact, and each lumen may have an outlet opening at a distal end. The needle may be used with a beverage dispenser that operates by introducing gas into a container via one lumen, and receives beverage from the container via another one of the lumens.

Automatic preservative gas replenishing system
10800589 · 2020-10-13 ·

An automatic replenishing system for automatically replenishing preservative gas within a compressible bladder for supply to the inner volume of a vessel. A compressible bladder has an outer wall and an inner volume. A supply conduit receives preservative gas from a source, and a discharge conduit supplies preservative gas to a vessel. An inflation detection system detect a first condition wherein the compressible bladder is inflated to a state of inflation and a second condition wherein the compressible bladder is inflated below the state of inflation. A valve system is operative to prevent preservative gas from flowing from the source of preservative gas and into the compressible bladder when the compressible bladder is in the first condition and to permit preservative gas to flow from the source of preservative gas and into the compressible bladder when the compressible bladder is in the second condition.

Device and method for sampling a liquid
10759553 · 2020-09-01 ·

The present invention relates to a device and a method for decanting a beverage initially contained in one or more closed bottles into smaller containers. The device comprises an enclosure under an inert atmosphere, provided with an inlet port comprising receiving means, into which inlet port the neck of the bottles is fitted, and an outlet port through which the hermetically sealed containers are evacuated. The device contains an opening station for opening the bottles fitted into the receiving means, a collection vessel that collects the liquid flowing out of the bottles, a filling station for filling the containers from the collection vessel, and a sealing station for hermetically sealing the containers. In the method, the steps of opening and emptying the bottles, and of filling and hermetically sealing the containers, are all carried out under an inert atmosphere.
