Vacuum side air vent
A volume of fluid may be received at the air chamber from a fluid source and dispensed to a nozzle. The fluid source may be in fluid communication with the air chamber. The flow may be reversed to draw the fluid to the air chamber and purge air within the air chamber or the fluid to the atmosphere.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BEVERAGE PRESERVATION
A receptacle for storing, pressurizing, and dispensing packaged beverages. The receptacle includes an airtight chamber with a removable lid, wherein the joint between the lid and the chamber is also airtight. A gas valve allows for the inflow and outflow of gas, and a tap port and tap stem allow the beverage to be dispensed without breaking the seal of the chamber. A pressure relief valve allows for more rapid depressurization. The chamber can be used at high and low pressures, such as a partial vacuum, to prevent oxidation of a number of open beverages, such as beers, wines, and sodas. A pressure gauge port coupled with an optional pressure gauge allows a user to verify the appropriate pressure for the type of beverage being preserved. The gas valve may be disposed on a base of the receptacle, as may the pressure relief and/or the pressure gauge port.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SAMPLING A LIQUID
The present invention relates to a device and a method for decanting a beverage initially contained in one or more closed bottles into smaller containers. The device comprises an enclosure under an inert atmosphere, provided with an inlet port comprising receiving means, into which inlet port the neck of the bottles is fitted, and an outlet port through which the hermetically sealed containers are evacuated. The device contains an opening station for opening the bottles fitted into the receiving means, a collection vessel that collects the liquid flowing out of the bottles, a filling station for filling the containers from the collection vessel, and a sealing station for hermetically sealing the containers. In the method, the steps of opening and emptying the bottles, and of filling and hermetically sealing the containers, are all carried out under an inert atmosphere.
AUTOMATED WINE DISPENSING APPARATUS AND MONITORING SYSTEM
A method, device, and system for in-room wine purchasing and/or dispensing. More specifically, the collaboration of one or more wine dispensing devices, a wine dispensing platform, a property management system, and third-party systems to enable, support, and capitalize on the provision of wine within lodging environments. Mechanisms for enforcing alcohol-related policies and/or regulations maintained by a geographic locality as well as for preventing the consumption of wine by underage or property staff members are also discussed.
BEVERAGE CONTAINER IDENTIFICATION AND DISPENSING CONTROL
A system and method for dispensing beverage from a container, such as wine from a wine bottle. An identification element may be secured to a beverage container and include a tag and optically readable code that uniquely identify the container. A dispenser may dispense beverage from a container, and be able to read the tag of the identification element. Information regarding characteristics of beverage in the beverage container may be associated with a corresponding identification element and include a brand, type, vintage or volume of beverage in the container.
Countertop hot and cold post-mix beverage dispenser
A beverage dispense system for a countertop having a water inlet including a solenoid valve and a beverage concentrate inlet to which a bag-in-box containing a supply of liquid coffee concentrate is attached. A beverage dispense font is mounted on the countertop. A water conduit connects the water inlet with the dispense font. A separate liquid beverage concentrate conduit connects the beverage concentrate inlet with the beverage dispense font. An electric syrup pump pumps liquid coffee concentrate from the bag-in-box to the end of the dispense font. A control unit controls the separate delivery of water from the mains water inlet and/or liquid coffee concentrate to the end of the beverage dispense font. Where water and liquid coffee concentrate are delivered, they will mix in the beverage receptacle.
BEVERAGE DISPENSING SYSTEM
A liquid dispensing system is disclosed. The liquid system includes a housing, a vessel fluidly connected to the housing and containing a liquid, a preservation subsystem positioned within the housing and in fluid communication with the vessel and a liquid outlet operably connected to the housing and in fluid communication with the vessel. In operation, the preservation subsystem reduces oxidization of the fluid within the vessel, while allowing the fluid to be dispensed through the liquid outlet.
APPARATUS FOR DRAWING BEVERAGES
An Apparatus for drawing beverages, such as beer, includes a casing in which there is housed a compression refrigeration unit and has a receptacle located superiorly and adapted to contain the barrel of the beverage. The receptacle is refrigerated by the refrigeration unit. The casing is provided with a compartment, located frontally and also refrigerated by a refrigeration unit, configured to contain drinking glasses accessible through an openable front door of the casing.
DRINK PRODUCING APPARATUS WITH DECARBONIZATION OF A LIQUID IN THE DISPENSING CONTAINER, HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DRINK PRODUCING APPARATUS
A drink producing apparatus includes a dispensing unit for dispensing liquid from the drink producing apparatus, a dispensing container, which is formed for receiving a liquid addable to a drink by the drink producing apparatus in a first liquid state, a carbon dioxide addition unit for adding carbon dioxide into the dispensing container upon dispensing liquid from the dispensing container, a decarbonization device, by which the liquid remaining in the dispensing container and carbonized with the introduced carbon dioxide is decarbonized. The invention also relates to a household refrigeration apparatus and to a method.
