Beverage dispensing assembly and tap
Dispensing assembly (10) comprising a container (1), containing a pressurized beverage, connected to or provided with a dispense assembly, wherein the dispense assembly comprises an outlet channel (12) closable by a valve body (16) and a chamber (14) between the container (1) and the valve body (16), which chamber (14) is at least partly closed by a movable and/or deformable wall part (28) connected to the valve body (16) or a valve seat, such that pressurized beverage from the container filling the chamber forces the wall part (28), into a position biasing the valve body (16) or the valve seat in a position closing the outlet channel (12) and by pushing the wall part the valve body (16) or the valve seat can be forced into a position opening the outlet channel (12), wherein preferably at least during use there is an open connection between said chamber (14) and a beverage compartment of the container (1).
Touchless tap handle for beverage dispensing
A touchless tap handle for beverage dispensing is provided that incorporates a spring and ball check valve within a spigot housing. The spigot housing as a male threaded end for connection to a beverage dispensing line. Between the beverage connection and the check valve is a flow control valve having a detachable control mechanism. A system operator can use the control mechanism to calibrate fluid flow. The control mechanism is further fastened or keyed to allow for removal after modifying system flow parameters. A tap handle extension is further provided that can be threadingly affixed to the spigot housing. The tap handle extension specifically does not control operational parameters, which are intended to be initiated through pushbutton control of a pour control system.
DISPENSE TAP WITH INTEGRAL INFUSION
A dispense tap with integral gas/liquid infusion for dispensing a beverage at a given dispensing point inside a restaurant, a coffee shop, a bar, or a convenience store, features a mixing chamber having at least one gas input port configured to receive at least one incoming gas stream; at least one liquid input port configured to receive at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream; and an infuser configured to mix the at least one incoming gas stream and the at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream at the given dispensing point within the dispensing tap, and provide a mixing chamber stream containing a gas infused liquid mixture of the at least one incoming gas stream and the at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream for dispensing as a beverage. The degree of absorption of the at least one incoming gas stream and the at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream in the gas infused liquid mixture depends at least in part on sensed gas, liquid or concentrate pressure characteristics of one or more of the at least one incoming gas stream received by the infuser, the at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream received by the infuser, or the gas infused liquid mixture provided from the infuser.
MOUNTING FLANGE
A mounting flange having an insert with an exposed flange, an insert channel wall extending from the exposed flange, the channel wall defining an inner surface and an outer surface; and an anchor with an anchor flange, an anchor channel wall extending from the anchor flange, the channel wall defining an inner surface and an outer surface. One of the inner surface and outer surface of the insert channel wall defines a plurality of teeth and one of the inner surface and outer surface of the anchor channel wall defines a plurality of teeth for threaded engagement with the teeth defined on the insert channel wall.
Fermentation and aging apparatus and method for controlling fermentation and aging apparatus
A fermentation and aging apparatus may include a fermentation tank defining an accommodation space in which a beverage is accommodated, a refrigerant cycle device configured to cool the fermentation tank and the beverage, a temperature sensor mounted on an outer circumferential surface of the fermentation tank, and a controller configured to control driving of the refrigerant cycle device based on a temperature sensed by the temperature sensor and a predetermined storage temperature, check a remaining amount of the beverage accommodated in the fermentation tank, and reset a storage temperature of the beverage when the checked remaining amount is lower than a predetermined reference amount.
ADAPTER FOR BEVERAGE DISPENSER
The adapter of the present disclosure includes a circuit board with a processor and a switch thereon and a reader or transceiver connected to the board. With the adapter, a technician can retrofit an existing beverage machine to upgrade the dispensing and payment systems associated therewith. Existing beverage machines include a locking circuit that is key-enabled. This circuit allows an owner or technician to selectively allow and prevent beverage and/or ice from being dispensed. A technician can install the adapter of the present disclosure into the existing locking circuit. The board and transceiver of the adapter will detect when a user is authorized to obtain beverages, and close the circuit to enable this. To dispense beverage and/or ice, a user will present a valid credential to the board and transceiver. When no authorized user provides a valid credential, no beverage can be dispensed. The adapter can use a number of communication technologies to determine authorization. The adapter of the present disclosure can also include or work in conjunction with a mobile app on a user's device, that can check with a server to ensure that the user has paid for the beverage. A method of operating a beverage dispensing machine and retrofitting a beverage dispensing machine is also provided.
CONNECTOR FOR SUSPENDING A BEVERAGE KEG AND DISPENSING A BEVERAGE THEREFROM
A connector (10) for a beverage container (12) is provided. The connector (10) comprises a container connecting portion (38) configured to connect to a container outlet (18) and support the container from a connection point. The connector (10) also comprises an appliance connecting portion (34) configured to connect the connector (10) to an appliance (14). The connector (10) is configured to be connected to a container and an appliance (14) so that the container (10) is suspended from the connector (10) within the appliance (14).
Dispensing assembly and container with tap
Dispensing assembly (10) for beverage from a container (1), comprising an outlet channel (8) for beverage and a valve body (16) operable to open and close said outlet channel (8), wherein the channel defines a direction of flow of the beverage towards an outlet end (13), and wherein the valve body (16) is provided at or near the outlet end (13) of the outlet channel (8) and has a shape with a base (21) facing in a direction against the direction of flow and a tip (22) with an end facing in the direction of flow, wherein the tip, between the base and the end, has an outwardly curved outer surface (24), such that beverage engaging the base (21) can be guided from the base over the outer surface (24) to the end forming a beverage jet when leaving the surface at or near said end.
