PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF A FLAVOURING
The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of a flavouring, comprising the steps of (i) providing a reaction mixture comprising (a) yeast extract comprising at least 0.5 wt.% of glycosylamine and/or derivatives thereof and at least 1.0 wt.% of thiol containing compounds, wherein the weight percentage is by weight of dry matter of the yeast extract, (b) at least 1 wt.% of mineral acid or organic acid, by weight of the reaction mixture, and (c) from 0 to 20 wt.% of water by weight of the reaction mixture; and (iii) incubating the reaction mixture at a temperature in the range of 150 to 220° C., wherein shear is applied to the reaction mixture. The method preferably is natural. The invention also relates to a flavouring obtainable by the method. The flavouring is preferably a natural flavouring.
HAIR REGROWTH AND GROWTH PROMOTER AND USE THEREOF
The present invention provides a hair regrowth promoter comprising an egg-yolk protein hydrolysate as an active ingredient. The egg-yolk protein hydrolysate is a safe ingredient produced from a natural source, and therefore can be widely used in daily consumable products, such as food and drink products, medicaments, animal feeds, and dietary supplements, or as a food additive, etc. The promoter etc. of the present invention can be orally administered and is thus very advantageous.

The method for producing an amino acid containing glycosylation composition derived from rice according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a step for compressing and kneading rice powder or rice grains within a cylinder by using an extruder to break an α-1,4 bond in starch, and, a step for breaking the α-1,4 bond in starch and/or an α-1,6 bond in starch by adding an enzyme into the cylinder. Furthermore, in a preferable embodiment of the method for producing an amino acid containing glycosylation composition derived from rice according to the present invention, a step for adding water to the rice powder (or rice grains) is further carried out as preparation.
