Mixing and dispensing device and method

A mixing and dispensing device and method. In particular, the device used by the applied method reduces the risk of chlorine gas formation while providing a stable, effective and safe disinfectant in the form of a hypochlorous add and sodium hypochlorite mixture. The mixing and dispensing device includes a highly concentrated disinfectant and dilutes the concentrate through the device while simultaneously mixing the concentrate with a dilute solution of an organic acid. The two diluted solutions are mixed without production of chlorine gas and to a level of safety before being dispensed to produce the stable, effective and safe neutral pH sodium hypochlorite solution disinfectant in the form of a hypochlorous add and sodium hypochlorite mixture. The mixing and dispensing device can be in the form of a kit for retrofitting into institutions or isolated, remote areas in need thereof or for off the shelf use in the home.

Methods and systems are provided for a fuel injector. In one example, a system may include an injection nozzle having a venturi shape with an upstream twisted fin arranged in a venturi inlet. The system may further include a downstream twisted fin arranged in a venturi outlet.

FLUID MIXING APPARATUS USING LIQUID FUEL AND HIGH- AND LOW- PRESSURE FLUID STREAMS
20210199300 · 2021-07-01 · ·

A fluid mixing apparatus includes mixing conduits that extend through a fluid plenum. The fluid plenum, which surrounds a first wall defining a main passage fluidly coupled to a low-pressure fluid source, is surrounded itself by a second wall defining a high-pressure plenum fluidly coupled to a high-pressure fluid source. An insulated tube disposed at the inlet of the first wall delivers a third fluid. The mixing conduits fluidly couple the high-pressure plenum to the main passage, where the high-pressure fluid is mixed with low-pressure fluid and the third fluid. Optionally, the fluid plenum may house a fourth fluid that is injected through injection holes in the mixing conduits. The fluid mixing apparatus may be used to mix one or more fuels with high- and low-pressure air in a gas turbine combustor. Alternately, the fluid mixing apparatus may mix a fluid with high- and low-pressure water streams.

The fluid mixing apparatus may be used to mix one or more fuels with high- and low-pressure air in a gas turbine combustor. Alternately, the fluid mixing apparatus may mix a fluid with high- and low-pressure water streams.

A micro-bubble generator is provided between an input end and an output end of a water outlet device. The micro-bubble generator includes a water inlet member and a water outlet member. A gas inlet gap is remained between the water inlet member and the water outlet member, with the gas inlet gap being communicated to external air, such that the external air is allowed to enter the micro-bubble generator for gas-liquid mixing and generate minute and dense bubbles.

A device (1) for dissolving a gas (G) in water (W) is provided, and includes a housing (100) configured to be submerged into the water (W) with the housing (100) having at least one water inlet (101), a gas inlet (102) and at least one water outlet (103) for discharging gas enriched water out of the housing (100), a pump (5) in fluid communication with the at least one water inlet (10) for sucking water (W) from a surrounding of the housing (100), the pump configured to generate a main water stream (S′), and means for injecting the gas (G) supplied via the gas inlet (102) into the main water stream (S′). The device (1) includes a probe (6) configured to measure a concentration of the gas dissolved in water, and the probe (6) is arranged in the housing (100) of the device (1).

Water container with an ozone diffuser
10967335 · 2021-04-06 · ·

A water container with an ozone diffuser is an apparatus that is used to diffuse ozone gas into water that is either flowing through the apparatus or is retained by the apparatus. The apparatus includes an aeration chamber, an ozone generator coupler, a distribution hub, a plurality of porous tubes, and a degassing unit. The ozone generator coupler allows the apparatus to connect with a pressurized supply of ozone gas. The aeration chamber is used to retain the water that is currently being aerated by the ozone gas. The distribution hub receives the ozone gas from the ozone generator coupler and distributes the ozone gas amongst the porous tubes. The ozone gas is then evenly inserted from the porous tubes into the water retained by the aeration chamber. The degassing unit is used to neutralize the excess ozone before exhausting the excess ozone into the apparatus's surroundings.

Mobile Aqueous Chemical Injection And Application Apparatus
20210105934 · 2021-04-15 ·

This invention is a mobile water and chemical delivery system that allows for the injection of a chemical in the path of the water line under high pressure. The system allows for mobile agricultural workers to move large quantities of clean water between job sites to use to deliver agricultural chemicals inline without having to carry large quantities of chemicals into the field. The chemicals are injected between the mobile water tank and the hoses that take the water from the tank to the application site. The purity of the mobile water source remains constant even if there is a change in the chemical.
