Device and method for mixing liquids
12011571 · 2024-06-18 · ·

One aspect relates to a device for mixing two liquids including a tube having an open end, a main line connected to the tube in a liquid-permeable manner, a rubber-elastic body delimiting a line wall of the main line, at least one secondary line in the rubber-elastic body, wherein the at least one secondary line extends from at least one secondary opening up to the main line and opens via at least one mouth into the main line, a main connection for introducing a first liquid into the main line, at least one feed line for introducing a second liquid into the at least one secondary line, which is connected to the at least one secondary opening in a liquid-permeable manner. The at least one secondary line is closed in the rubber-elastic body without the action of a force and is hydraulically openable by a pressure being exerted on a second liquid fed to the at least one secondary line by an elastic deformation of the at least one rubber-elastic body. The open at least one secondary line closes without a pressure being exerted on the supplied second liquid by the restoring force of the elastically deformed rubber-elastic body.

Chemical injection and mixing device

A flow of a chemical is mixed with a flow of a primary fluid to form a combined fluid, and during mixing a velocity of the combined fluid is maintained at a threshold value so that a resulting mixture of the chemical and primary fluid has a designated homogeneity. The primary fluid is directed to an end of a passage with a venturi like contour that is inside of a mixer, and the chemical is directed to a side passage that extends laterally in the mixer that intersects the passage. A spring loaded valve in the passage maintains the combined flow velocity at the threshold value.

Method in a flow device for exhaust gas aftertreatment and the flow device

A method, flow device and system for method of guiding a flow of exhaust gas for aftertreatment, including receiving exhaust gas into a mixing chamber; supporting a mixing tube mostly in the mixing chamber obliquely to and extending through a peripheral wall of the mixing chamber; supporting by a reactant doser mount a reactant doser that doses reactant to the mixing tube; receiving, by a peripheral exhaust gas entry in the mixing tube, exhaust gas at reactant stream arriving from the doser; and forming by a swirl arrangement, a rotating flow around a mixing tube output and enhancing exhaust gas flow through the mixing tube by forming some pressure around the mixing tube downstream from the peripheral exhaust gas entry.

Apparatus for producing rapid-hardening concrete by intermixing and dissipating air in normal concrete and adding early-strength admixture thereto, and method for producing same

The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing rapid-hardening concrete and a method for producing same, the rapid-hardening concrete being produced by intermixing and dissipating air in normal concrete and adding an early-strength admixture thereto. With respect to forming rapid-hardening concrete, mixed concrete is formed by mixing in a large volume of air bubbles to be discarded, along with an early-strength admixture, to already mixed normal concrete, the early-strength admixture getting evenly dispersed therewithin by means of the ball bearing effect of the air bubbles, and when the mixed concrete is discharged, a rapid-hardening concrete is shotcreted while excess air contained in the mixed concrete is dissipated by means of high-performance air, the slump which was raised due to the large amount of air bubbles having been reduced to the slump range for normal concrete.
