Apparatus for making polymers
The invention relates to a device for producing polymers, preferably for processing and polycondensation of polyester, having a substantially cylindrical reactor (1), which has an inlet opening (2) on one side and an exit opening (4) on the other side and an outlet (20) for discharging gases. According to the invention, said device is developed such that the device has a compact design, and such that the device allows the use of higher-viscosity initial substances, even when generating smaller volumes, which is optimally adjustable in respect of the process conditions thereof and which represents a variable, cost-effective solution. According to the invention, the reactor (1) has a continuous, central shaft (6), on which agitating elements or agitating elements and conveying elements are arranged, the inlet opening (2) is connected to an entry extruder (3), the shaft (6) of the reactor and the shaft (6) of the entry extruder (3) form a common shaft (6), and a drive (7) for the common shaft (6) is allocated to the entry extruder (3).
DISTRIBUTION AND PROCESSING OF BATTERY ELECTRODE SLURRY AND SIMILAR SUSPENSIONS
The occurrence of separation or reaggregation is suppressed in a suspension such as a battery electrode slurry. A battery electrode slurry distributing apparatus includes: a circulation pipe via which a positive electrode slurry is to be circulated; and a control unit that controls the supply of the positive electrode slurry to each of coaters. In a period in which either the coater is allowed to receive the supply of the positive electrode slurry, the control unit inhibits the supply of the positive electrode slurry to the other coater. The circulation pipe is structured in a polygonal loop. The coaters are connected to respective elbow portions formed in the circulation pipe via the pipes, respectively.
Vacuum pug mill
A pug mill having a housing and a cantilevered shaft extending through the housing includes, in seriatim, a vacuum chamber, a wall, a mixing chamber and a reduction cone. A communication port about the shaft is positioned in the wall between the vacuum chamber and the mixing chamber. Vacuum can be maintained within the mixing chamber by air passing through the port. An auger associated with the shaft forces clay toward the reduction cone. This creates a seal for maintaining vacuum within the mixing chamber and extrudes cylindrical blocks of conditioned clay without significant air bubbles. A deflection plate rotating with the shaft and a spiral element about the shaft keep the communication port clear. The shaft is eccentrically mounted. The dividing wall is removable.
System for the processing of organic waste and products
System for the processing of organic waste and products, which is equipped with, at least, one cylindrical cavity of treatment which is arranged with a loading area and a unloading area of waste and an entrance and exit of vapor. Inside the cylindrical cavity, a dragging spindle with direction of advance from the loading area to the unloading area is installed. The axis of the dragging spindle is equipped with mixing blades which conform a mixing spindle with a direction of advance opposite to that one of the dragging spindle.
VOLUMETRIC CONCRETE MIXING SYSTEM, EQUIPMENT, AND METHOD
A mobile volumetric concrete mixing system includes a suction system that vacuums up trench spoils while a trench is being cut. These trench spoils are then screened on-site for particle size to be reused and mixed with water, cement, and/or other admixtures at an auger mixer to form a backfill mixture. This backfill mixture may then be loaded into a hopper that continuously agitates the mixture so that the mixture does not harden before pouring. The agitating hopper is coupled to a discharge chute of the auger mixer and includes one or more augers disposed at various orientations that the backfill mixture is channeled through. From the agitating hopper, the backfill mixture is channeled to an applicator that moves along the trench and that enables the mixture to be quickly poured into the trench with little clean-up required.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING FIBER REINFORCED CEMENTITIOUS SLURRY USING A MULTI-STAGE CONTINUOUS MIXER
A method in which a stream of dry cementitious powder from a dry powder feeder passes through a dry cementitious powder inlet conduit to feed a first feed section of a fiber-slurry mixer. An aqueous medium stream passes through at least one aqueous medium stream conduit to feed a first mixing section the fiber-slurry mixer. A stream of reinforcing fibers passes from a fiber feeder through a reinforcing fibers stream conduit to feed a second mixing section of the fiber-slurry mixer. The stream of dry cementitious powder, aqueous medium stream, and stream of reinforcing fibers combine in the fiber-slurry mixer to make a stream of fiber-cement mixture which discharges through a discharge conduit at a downstream end of the mixer.
