Row unit for agricultural implement
An agricultural row unit for use with a towing frame hitched to a tractor includes an attachment frame adapted to be rigidly connected to the towing frame, a linkage pivotably coupled to the attachment frame, and a row unit frame having a leading end pivotably coupled to the linkage to permit vertical pivoting movement of the row unit frame relative to the attachment frame. A hydraulic cylinder coupled to the attachment frame and the linkage, for urging the row unit frame downwardly toward the soil, includes a movable ram extending into the cylinder, and a hydraulic-fluid cavity within the cylinder for receiving pressurized hydraulic fluid for advancing the ram in a direction that pivots the linkage and the row unit frame downwardly toward the soil. An accumulator positioned adjacent to the hydraulic cylinder has a fluid chamber containing a diaphragm, with the portion of the chamber on one side of the diaphragm being connected to the hydraulic-fluid cavity in the hydraulic cylinder, and the portion of the chamber on the other side of the diaphragm containing a pressurized gas.
Planting assembly and machine
A planting machine for forming a trench for planting seeds and/or fertilizer in a ground surface, including a frame that supports a planting assembly having a cutting tool and a gauge that sets the height of the cutting tool so as to determine a depth of the trench formed by the tool, wherein the assembly includes a linkage coupled between the frame to the gauge and an actuator to allow for remote adjustment of the linkage, in order to vary a planting depth of the trench.
PLOW WITH RESETTABLE PLOW BOTTOM
A plow bottom is configured to be easily reset when striking a rock while plowing. The plow operator may set the force required for the plow bottom to disengage using the adjustment switch. Once the shank strikes an object, the plow bottom will disengage. The plow operator then lifts the plow assembly using the tractor to raise the plow bottoms out of the ground. A spring then forces the disengaged plow bottom to reengage. Once the plow bottom is reengaged, the plow operator lowers the plow assembly and continues plowing the land.
Device for folding the working tools of agricultural machinery
A device for folding the working tool of an agricultural machine, specifically a device for folding the working tool (1) of an agricultural machine and protecting the working tool from over-strain. The device is mounted on a frame (7) of the agricultural machine. The working tool (1) is swivel-mounted with its back against an overloading force, which creates at least one swivel mounted protection from an over-strain protection device (2). On the working tool (1) the upper pivoting part (5) and the lower pivoting part (6) are mounted. On the frame (7) are mounted the upper pivoting part (8) and the lower pivoting part (9). The upper pivoting part (5) of the working tool (1) is connected to the lower pivoting part (9) of the frame (7) by a drawbar (3). The lower pivoting part (6) of the working tool (1) is connected to the upper pivoting part (8) of the frame (7) by a second drawbar (4).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE REMAINING FATIGUE LIFE OF A SHEAR PIN OF A GROUND-ENGAGING SYSTEM OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
A system for determining the remaining fatigue life of a shear pin of a ground engaging system of an agricultural implement may include a ground-engaging system having an attachment structure coupled to a frame of the implement, a ground-engaging tool pivotably coupled to the attachment structure, a shear pin prevent pivoting of the ground-engaging tool, and a biasing element configured to bias the ground-engaging tool towards a ground-engaging position. The system may further include at least one sensor configured to generate data indicative of a load on at least one component of the ground-engaging system, and a controller configured to determine a remaining fatigue life of the shear pin based at least in part on the data indicative of the load on the at least one component of the ground-engaging system.
Slurry applicator for an agricultural machine
A trough is cut in the ground surface by a rotating member. The rotating member displaces soil upward with respect to the ground surface and rearwardly with respect to a direction of travel of the rotating member. While the soil is in the air, slurry is deposited into the trough. The soil is then redirected downward to the trough to cover the slurry with the soil.

Combination C-shaped spring and system
A C-spring contains an inner spring that is spaced apart from the outer primary spring. In one example usage, the upper and lower legs of the C-spring have rear regions respectively configured for being mounted to a tubular frame tool frame member of a ground working implement, such as a disk, and to a bearing housing.
Apparatuses, methods, and systems for providing down force for an agricultural implement
An agricultural planter includes systems, methods, and apparatus for providing down force pressure at row units of the planter. The row units may include an electric linear actuator connected to linkages of the row units to provide and maintain a down force pressure for the row unit. The linkage may also be removed and replaced with a strut or like mechanism to apply a direct down force pressure to components of the row unit. One or more sensors can be included to obtain information related to the ground to automatically adjust the amount of down force provided based upon a ground characteristic in order to maintain a substantially uniform furrow depth.
Sand bunker rake and infield groomer apparatus
A sand bunker rake/infield groomer vehicle having a frame; a plurality of wheels to traverse a driven surface, wherein the wheels are rotatably mounted to the frame; a power source mounted to the frame; and a rear attachment structure attached to the frame, wherein the rear attachment structure provides a joint enabling rotation; a bracket including a shaft wherein the bracket is configured to cooperate with an associated rake/grooming attachment; and a pivoting bracket mounted to the frame.
