DIENE PRODUCTION METHOD
A method for producing diene comprises a step 1 of obtaining a straight chain internal olefin by removing a branched olefin from a raw material including at least the branched olefin and a straight chain olefin; and a step 2 of producing diene from the internal olefin by oxidative dehydrogenation using a first catalyst and a second catalyst, and the first catalyst has a complex oxide including bismuth, molybdenum and oxygen, and the second catalyst includes at least one selected from the group consisting of silica and alumina.
Metal loaded catalyst and preparation method thereof
A metal loaded catalyst comprises a support and main active metal components and optional auxiliary active metal components, wherein the main active metal components are elementary substances and obtained by ionizing radiation reducing precursors of main active metal components. The catalyst can be widely used in the catalytic reactions of petrochemistry industry with high activity and selectivity. The catalyst can be used directly without being reduced preliminarily by hydrogen.
Bimetallic perovskite loaded graphene-like carbon nitride visible-light photocatalyst and its preparation method
Disclosed is a method for preparing a bimetallic perovskite loaded grapheme-like carbon nitride photocatalyst, comprising: 11) dissolving SbCl.sub.3 and AgCl in HCl solution under heating and constant stirring; then adding CsCl in the heated solution to form sediment on the bottom of the beaker; collecting the sediment and wash it with ethanol, and finally drying in an oven to obtain Cs.sub.2AgSbCl.sub.6 powder; 12) adding melamine into an aluminum oxide crucible and placing it into a muffle furnace for calcination and finally cooling to room temperature naturally to obtain g-C.sub.3N.sub.4 samples; 13) adding the Cs.sub.2AgSbCl.sub.6 bimetallic perovskite and the g-C.sub.3N.sub.4 into a solvent, and stirring after subjecting to ultrasound, and drying after centrifuging to obtain the photocatalyst. Provided is a new idea for the combination of bimetallic halide perovskite and photocatalytic material, and the preparation method has mild conditions, simple operation, and is favorable for large-scale production.
Systems and methods to produce hydrogen gas from hydrogen sulfide
The disclosure relates to systems and methods to produce hydrogen (H.sub.2) gas from hydrogen sulfide (H.sub.2S). H.sub.2S is contacted with a catalyst to form H.sub.2 gas and sulfur adsorbed to the catalyst. The adsorbed sulfur is contacted with oxygen (O.sub.2) gas to convert the adsorbed sulfur to sulfur dioxide (SO.sub.2) and regenerate the catalyst.
COATED COMPONENTS FOR COKE ABATEMENT IN GAS TURBINE ENGINES
A coated component for coke abatement in a gas turbine engine. The coated component includes a substrate, and a catalytic coating. The catalytic coating includes a phase enriched in metal oxide and a phase enriched in noble metal. The metal oxide is of formula A.sub.xE.sub.yL.sub.zMO.sub.u where A is one or more alkaline earth elements, x ranges from zero to one, E is one or more alkali metals, y ranges from zero to one, L is one or more lanthanide elements, z ranges from zero to one, M is one or more d-block or p-block elements, O is oxygen, and u ranges from 0.95 to six.
