More particularly, the present invention relates to a reactor for non-oxidative direct conversion of methane in which a catalytic reaction velocity is maximized, the production of coke is minimized, and a high conversion rate of methane and a high yield of ethylene and an aromatic compound are ensured when ethylene and the aromatic compound are manufactured from methane, and a method of manufacturing ethylene and an aromatic compound using the same.
COPPER MESH COATED WITH MANGANESE MOLYBDATE AND APPLICATION THEREOF IN THE SEPARATION OF OIL-WATER EMULSION AND DEGRADATION OF ORGANIC POLLUTANTS IN WATER
The invention aims to provide a copper mesh coated with manganese molybdate and application thereof in the separation of oil-water emulsion and degradation of organic pollutants in water. A large amount of nano-scale manganese molybdates are grown on the surface of a copper mesh through a two-step hydrothermal method. Thereby, a multifunctional composite material is prepared, which can effectively separate oil-water emulsion and degrade organic pollutants in water. The copper mesh has good recyclability. Most of all, the product is suitable for industrial production to achieve the purpose of treating water pollution.
Selective ammoxidation catalysts
A catalytic composition useful for the conversion of an olefin selected from the group consisting of propylene, isobutylene or mixtures thereof, to acrylonitrile, methacrylonitrile, and mixtures thereof. The catalytic composition comprises a complex of metal oxides comprising bismuth, molybdenum, iron, cerium and other promoters, with a desirable composition.
Multi-metal catalyst composition for production of morphology controlled CNT's and process thereof
A catalyst composition for the production of carbon nanotubes (CNT) with controlled morphology is disclosed. The catalyst is represented by formula [(M.sub.xMn.sub.y)Mo.sub.z][binary metal oxide].sub.(100(x+y+z)), where x is in the range 1 to 25 wt %, y is in the range 0.1 to 20 wt %, and z is in the range 0.0 to 10 wt %. Further M represents either iron or cobalt or nickel along with manganese and molybdenum supported on binary metal oxides comprising of boron, magnesium, aluminum, silicon, calcium, barium, and combination thereof. The CNT morphology can be tailor-made with the plural combination of nature of metal and promoters in appropriate proportions. The process yields the CNT with bulk density in the range of 0.01 to 0.20 g/cc, diameter in the range of 5 to 30 nm and purity greater than 95 wt %.
