A structured catalyst for steam reforming of the present disclosure is used for producing reformed gas containing hydrogen from a reforming raw material containing hydrocarbon, and includes a support having a porous structure constituted of a zeolite-type compound, and at least one catalytic substance present inside the support. The support includes channels connecting with each other, and the catalytic substance is metal nanoparticles and present at least in the channels of the support.

The structured catalyst for catalytic cracking or hydrodesulfurization (1) includes a support (10) of a porous structure composed of a zeolite-type compound and at least one type of metal oxide nanoparticles (20) present in the support (10), in which the support (10) has channels (11) that connect with each other, the metal oxide nanoparticles (20) are present at least in the channels (11) of the support (10), and the metal oxide nanoparticles (20) are composed of a material containing any one or two more of the oxides of Fe, Al, Zn, Zr, Cu, Co, Ni, Ce, Nb, Ti, Mo, V, Cr, Pd, and Ru.

A preparation method for a molecular sieve-multiple oxide composite integral extrusion type denitration catalyst includes constructing an organic structure coating on the surface of a metal ion-exchanged molecular sieves and synchronously adding multiple oxide components, thus obtaining an ion-exchanged molecular sieve-multiple oxide composite denitration catalyst active component; and then mixing, kneading into paste, staling, carrying out integral extrusion forming, drying, and calcining, thus obtaining the integral extrusion type denitration catalyst. The molecular sieve-multiple oxide composite integral extraction type denitration catalyst has a denitration efficiency more than 80% at the temperature ranging from 250 C. to 420 C. in the presence of 10% steam and 500 ppm sulfuric dioxide.

The present invention is directed to processes from producing beta-lactone and beta-lactone derivatives using heterogenous catalysts. In preferred embodiments of the present invention, the processes comprise the steps: passing a feed stream comprising an epoxide reagent and a carbon monoxide reagent to a reaction zone; contacting the epoxide reagent and the carbon monoxide reagent with a heterogenous catalyst to produce a beta-lactone product in the reaction zone; and removing the beta-lactone product from the reaction zone. In preferred embodiments, the heterogenous catalyst comprises a solid support containing a cationic Lewis acid functional group and a metal carbonyl compound comprising at least one of anionic metal carbonyl compound or a neutral metal carbonyl compound. In certain preferred embodiments, the epoxide reagent and carbon monoxide reagent have a biobased content.

The present invention relates to a catalyst for producing chlorine by oxidation of hydrogen chloride and a method for preparing the same. The catalyst comprises a support and active ingredients that comprise 1-20 wt % of copper, 0.01-5 wt % of boron, 0.1-10 wt % of alkali metal element(s), 0.1-15 wt % of one or more rare earth elements, and 0-10 wt % of one or more elements selected from magnesium, calcium, barium, manganese, iron, nickel, cobalt, zinc, ruthenium or titanium based on the total weight of the catalyst. The catalyst is prepared by a two-step impregnation method. Comparing with the available catalysts of the same type, the catalyst according to the present invention has greatly improved conversion and stability.

Catalyzed Alkylation, Alkylation Catalysts, and Methods of Making Alkylation Catalysts

Improved alkylation catalysts, alkylation methods, and methods of making alkylation catalysts are described. The alkylation method comprises reaction over a solid acid, zeolite-based catalyst and can be conducted for relatively long periods at steady state conditions. The alkylation catalyst comprises a crystalline zeolite structure, a Si/Al molar ratio of 20 or less, less than 0.5 weight percent alkali metals, and further having a characteristic catalyst life property. Some catalysts may contain rare earth elements in the range of 10 to 35 wt %. One method of making a catalyst includes a calcination step following exchange of the rare earth element(s) conducted at a temperature of at least 575 C. to stabilize the resulting structure followed by an deammoniation treatment. An improved method of deammoniation uses low temperature oxidation.
