Selective process and catalysts for the production of renewable fuels and distillates of high molecular weight
The present invention relates to a process for the conversion of plant oils, animal fats, waste food oils and carboxylic acids into renewable liquid fuels, such as bio-naphtha, bioQAV and renewable diesel, for use in combination with fossil fuels. The process is composed of two steps: hydrotreatment and hydrocracking. The effluent from the hydrotreatment step contains aromatics, olefins and compounds resulting from the polymerization of esters and acids. This is due to the use of partially reduced catalysts without the injection of a sulfiding agent and allows for the production of bioQAV of suitable quality for use in combination with fossil kerosene. Concurrently, the process generates, in addition to products in the distillation range of naphtha, kerosene and diesel, high molecular weight linear paraffins (up to 40 carbon atoms).
Purification treatment method of liquid containing harmful substance, and purification treatment device of liquid containing harmful substance for carrying out said method
The present invention provides a method for performing a purification treatment on a harmful substance-containing liquid, the method enabling an efficient purification treatment of a harmful substance-containing liquid by using dissolved ozone being an oxidizing agent with high level of safety, and a harmful substance-containing liquid purification treatment apparatus for carrying out the method. A method for performing a purification treatment on a harmful substance-containing liquid, the method comprising adding and mixing dissolved ozone into a harmful substance-containing liquid containing a harmful substance, thereafter bringing the harmful substance-containing liquid into contact with a transition metal-containing oxide having a BET specific surface area of 80 m.sup.2/g or more, adsorbing ozone, and adsorbing a harmful substance, and then allowing the harmful substance-containing liquid to flow to accelerate oxidation of the harmful substance by dissolved ozone, thereby performing a highly efficient oxidative decomposition, and a harmful substance-containing liquid purification treatment apparatus for carrying out the method.
HYDROCARBON CONVERSION PROCESS
The present invention relates to a hydrocarbon conversion process comprising contacting a hydrocarbon feed stream with a hydrocarbon conversion catalyst, wherein the hydrocarbon conversion catalyst comprises a first composition comprising a dehydrogenation drogenation active metal on a solid support; and a second composition comprising a transition metal and a doping agent on an inorganic support, wherein the doping agent is selected from zinc, gallium, indium, lanthanum, and mixtures thereof.
PROMOTOR FOR ACTIVE PHASE METALS DISPERSION IN HYDROPROCESSING CATALYSTS AND METHOD OF MAKING THE CATALYST
A composition comprising a promotor component is disclosed comprising a mixture of one or more catalytically active components and one or more oxidized disulfide oil (ODSO) compounds, including a water-soluble fraction of ODSO. A composition comprising an aqueous solution of one or more catalytically active components and a promotor component is also disclosed. In certain embodiments the ODSO is obtained from the effluent of an enhanced MEROX process. The compositions facilitate transfer of catalytically active components (or components that will be catalytically active in the finished solid catalyst material) onto the surface of support materials.
Metathesis catalyst and process for producing olefin
The present invention provides a catalyst comprising a transition metal, an inorganic support, a zeolite, and a layered double hydroxide. Using of the catalyst according to the present invention in an olefin production process exhibits high activity and high selectivity with decreased deactivation rate, therefore longer reaction cycle can be performed and catalyst life is prolonged.
CATALYST SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR CONVERSION OF A HYDROCARBON FEED UTILIZING THE CATALYST SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a catalyst system comprising: i. a first layer of a hydrocarbon conversion catalyst, the hydrocarbon conversion catalyst comprising: a first composition comprising a platinum group metal on a solid support; and a second composition comprising a transition metal on an inorganic support; ii. a second layer comprising a cracking catalyst; and to a process for conversion of a hydrocarbon feed utilizing this catalyst system.
HYDROCRACKING AND HYDROTREATING CATALYTIC COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING A ZEOLITE AND REGENERATED, SPENT CATALYST AND USES THEREOF
The invention relates to a composition useful as a hydrotreating or hydrocracking catalyst, where fresh catalyst useful in hydrotreating or hydrocracking is combined with spent catalyst, and optionally with additional active metal. The resulting compositions can be used in hydrotreating or hydrocracking but not FCC processes.
Catalyst For Preparing Chlorine Gas By Hydrogen Chloride Oxidation, And Preparation Method And Application Thereof
A catalyst for preparing chlorine gas by hydrogen chloride oxidation, comprising the following components calculated according to mass content based on the total weight of the catalyst: 0.5-20 wt % copper; 2-10 wt % manganese; 0.05-2 wt % boron; 0.01-3 wt % chromium; 0.1-10 wt % rare earth metal; 0.1-10 wt % potassium; and 3-15 wt % titanium; also comprising 0.02-1.1 wt % phosphorus; and 0.03-1.9 wt % iron; the carrier content is 55-90 wt %. In the case of a fluidized bed reactor, the present catalyst can achieve a one-way hydrogen chloride conversion rate of 80-85%. Almost all of the 0-1000 mg/kg of chlorinated benzene contained in hydrogen chloride gas can be converted into CO.sub.2 and H.sub.2O without generating polychlorinated benzene.
