Flow cell array and uses thereof
Systems, computer program products, and methods for using a flow cell array are provided herein. A computer program product includes a computer readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith, the program instructions executable by a device to cause the device to deliver multiple items of chemical matter independently to multiple reaction sites of a flow cell array across multiple distinct instances of time; image multiple parallel chemical reactions at the multiple reaction sites of the flow cell array; and record an emission from each of the multiple chemical reactions site.
Systems, Apparatus and Kits for Enzymatic Polynucleotide Synthesis
The invention is directed to systems, apparatus and kits for automated synthesis of a plurality of polynucleotides in an array of reaction chambers using a template-free polymerase. In some embodiments, adaptive elements and processes are provided to monitor and control disruption of the synthesis process and fluid movement by enzyme aggregation.
Enzyme quantification
The invention generally relates to methods for quantifying an amount of enzyme molecules. Systems and methods of the invention are provided for measuring an amount of target by forming a plurality of fluid partitions, a subset of which include the target, performing an enzyme-catalyzed reaction in the subset, and detecting the number of partitions in the subset. The amount of target can be determined based on the detected number.
Flow cells using sequencing-ready nucleic acid fragments attached to carrier beads immobilized at capture sites of a plurality of chambers
An example of a flow cell includes a substrate, a plurality of chambers defined on or in the substrate, and a plurality of depressions defined in the substrate and within a perimeter of each of the plurality of chambers. The depressions are separated by interstitial regions. Primers are attached within each of the plurality of depressions, and a capture site is located within each of the plurality of chambers.
Microwave pyrolysis reacto
The present invention provides a microwave pyrolysis reactor (1) comprising an inner pipe element (2) and a housing (4), wherein the inner pipe element (2) is made of a microwave transparent material and is arranged within the housing and comprises a first open end (5) and a second open end (6); the housing (4) comprises a first inner surface, enclosing an annular space (7,44) around the inner pipe element (2), a waste inlet (10), a solids outlet (11), a gas outlet (12), and a port (13) for a microwave waveguide (14), the waste inlet and the solids outlet are in communication with the first open end and the second open end of the inner pipe element, respectively, and the port for a microwave waveguide is in communication with the annular space; the inner pipe element, the waste inlet and the solids outlet of the housing form parts of a conduit not in fluid communication with the annular space around the inner pipe element and wherein the inner pipe element is clamped within the housing via a cylinder-shaped resilient assembly (54) arranged at at least one of the first open end (5) and the second open end of the inner pipe element, the resilient assembly is adapted to allow longitudinal expansion of the inner pipe element (2) and comprises a central through-going passage (57) having a centerline in line with a centerline (C) of the inner pipe element.
Enzyme quantification
The invention generally relates to methods for quantifying an amount of enzyme molecules. Systems and methods of the invention are provided for measuring an amount of target by forming a plurality of fluid partitions, a subset of which include the target, performing an enzyme-catalyzed reaction in the subset, and detecting the number of partitions in the sunset. The amount of target can be determined based on the detected number.
Apparatus and method for analyzing reactions
The invention proceeds from an apparatus for analyzing reactions, comprising a starting material distributor and at least two reactors which are connected in parallel and are each connected via a connecting conduit to an outlet of the starting material distributor. To set the inflow, a pressure regulator and a restrictor are installed in each connecting conduit between the starting material distributor and the reactors or an outlet conduit in which a restrictor and a pressure regulator are installed branches off from each connecting conduit. The invention further relates to a method for analyzing reactions in such an apparatus.
Rapid equilibrator for water isotope analysis
Technologies for rapid equilibration for water isotope analysis are disclosed. In at least one illustrative embodiment, a vaporizer may include an injection block that defines a chamber and a septum positioned over an inlet of the chamber to seal the chamber. The chamber may be configured to be fluidly coupled to a pump to develop a vacuum within the chamber, and the septum may be configured to receive a needle that is inserted into the chamber. A thermally conductive wool may be positioned within the chamber and may be configured to receive a tip of the needle.
Droplet libraries
The present invention generally relates to droplet libraries and to systems and methods for the formation of libraries of droplets. The present invention also relates to methods utilizing these droplet libraries in various biological, chemical, or diagnostic assays.
SYNTHESIZER FOR OLIGO- AND POLYSACCARIDES ON SOLID PHASE
The present invention relates to device for automated synthesis of oligo- and polysaccharides on a solid support.
