APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR ROASTING AND DISCHARGING COFFEE BEANS
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for more convenient roasting of coffee. The apparatus (1) in particular facilitates an improved means for discharging or ejecting the so roasted coffee beans from the apparatus (1). The apparatus (1), which may be a home appliance apparatus, comprises a chamber (10) in which coffee beans can be received for roasting. The apparatus (1) further comprises a device for generating a current of air in order to agitate the coffee beans received by the chamber (10). The chamber (10) is delimited by a bottom (11), a top (12), and a sidewall (13) extending from the bottom (11) to the top (12), wherein the sidewall (13) comprises a discharge port (30), which is selectively moveable between a closed position and an open position, such that the current of air generated by the device can drive the coffee beans through the discharge port (30) to be discharged from the chamber (10), when the discharge port (30) is in the open position.
Roasting apparatus and controlling method thereof
The present disclosure relates to a roasting apparatus and a method of controlling the roasting apparatus, and more particularly, to a roasting apparatus for roasting objects while stirring the objects in a roasting chamber, and a method of controlling the roasting apparatus. An roasting apparatus for heating objects according to the present disclosure includes a roasting chamber part which includes: a cylindrical roasting chamber that extends in a vertical direction and has an internal space in which the objects are stirred; and a rotary stirring part that rotates to stir the objects received in the roasting chamber and rotates about a stirring axis defined in the vertical direction. The roasting apparatus further includes heat source parts which supply heat to the roasting chamber part.
Roasting and glazing apparatus
A roasting and glazing apparatus includes a housing having a top peripheral surface with an opening defined by an interior edge, a roaster bowl movable from within the housing, through the opening, to an elevated position above the housing, and a pour tray configured to detachably couple to the interior edge, and to receive and guide a fluid exiting the roaster bowl when the roaster bowl is in the elevated position. The pour tray has a bottom surface and a mounting bracket extending from the bottom surface. The mounting bracket is configured to detachably couple to the interior edge of the housing defining the opening. In an assembled configuration, the bottom surface of the pour tray is oriented at an angle relative to the top peripheral surface of the housing and supported by a shoulder or side peripheral surface of the housing.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING COFFEE GROUNDS
A method of processing coffee grounds. The method includes drying coffee grounds to at least a predetermined dryness by using a rotatory drier to heat and agitate the grounds while measuring the dryness of the drying coffee. After the coffee grounds have been dried, they are mixed with supercritical CO.sub.2 to separate liquid components of the coffee grounds from solid components. This provides a simple, safe way of extracting coffee oil and producing coffee flour.
Apparatus for roasting green bean
The present invention relates to an apparatus for roasting green beans. The apparatus for roasting green beans according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a roasting kettle in which a roasting portion responsible for roasting green beans is formed; a heating member for heating the roasting kettle during roasting, the heating member being embedded in a heating hole formed in the roasting kettle and integrated with the roasting kettle; and a stirring device which is rotatably mounted inside the roasting kettle and stirs green beans during roasting. By providing heating to the roasting kettle during green bean roasting, the heating member embedded in the heating hole formed in the roasting kettle therefore enables more efficient roasting, resulting in a great decrease in the roasting time of green beans.
Coffee Roaster
Disclosed is a coffee bean roaster. The coffee bean roaster includes a roasting unit, a sensor arrangement, and a control unit. The roasting unit has a drum with a transparent and removable front wall. The roasting unit further has a hot air supply and a rear wall heater to heat a rear wall of the drum. The sensor arrangement includes a roasting bean temperature sensor. The control unit is configured to receive a control input signal as a function of time, wherein the control input signal includes the roasting bean temperature signal and the roasting bean color signal, and is further configured to automatically generate a control output signal as a function of time in dependence of the control input signal thereby controlling operation of the drum heater and the drum rotor drive to roast the coffee beans inside the drum according to a pre-determined selected roasting profile, wherein the selected roasting profile includes a desired roasting bean temperature as a function of time, a target roasting bean temperature and a target roasting bean color, wherein the control unit is configured to determine if an end-of-roasting-condition is met, wherein the end-of roasting condition includes the coffee beans inside the drum having the target roasting bean temperature.
ROASTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
